Cavalero Hill Dog Park

My dog loved it! Lots and lots of room to run around. There are trees for shade and for climbing (if your dog climbs trees). There's a little stream and mud hole for your dog to play in (spa day). There is water here and bowls, but it's to be used in moderation as people bring and donate water by the jug, so it may be best to bring your own water/bowl. There is a shy dog area that is completely separated by a walking trail, so if you have a smaller dog or a shy dog, there is a nice easy going fenced in park for them. There is a Sally port to keep dogs from escaping when people enter and leave. I enjoyed it, but more importantly my dog enjoyed it. I recommend it!

Great space for dogs to run. Two nice sized grassy areas. Centralized dirt section in the middle.
Spring time has small creeks with running water.
My dog used to get ghiardea a few years back from here, but no longer an issue.
Poo-tin inside the park by the dirt patch, so not necessary to run poo bags out to the dumpster every time.
Good trees for shade or rain. Nice walking trail around the perimeter.
Lots of seating and hang-out spots.
Some mosquitos in the evening.
Parking lot shared with skate park.
So, lock the doors in the parking lot.
Separate shy-dog area perfect for socializing rescue dogs before introducing to the big park.

Very well maintained and lots of dogs go here. My dog loves it. The other people are nice and very good at watching their dogs. People pick up after their dogs and all the dogs are well behaved

This was a beautiful spot to take the dogs. There is a place to take your dog that is for "shi dogs." The sunset was geargous.

Love it here! There's some mud and puddles after rain but not bad. It's huge and has a nice centeral area with picnic tables. Everyone I've met there has been very kind and their dogs well mannered. Its right next to a great skatepark and playground.

Great! Went with my little dude and even though he is a people person, the dogs were really kind and kept eachother in check. People are really nice as well. You do have to bring your own dog bowl but if you do, be prepared for every dog to use it. There is water but I'd bring yours just in case. Really dusty in the main area but lots of small dog trails in the grass and there's a decent amount of shade for those darker dogs. Would 10/10 recommend.

Nice little park for the kids and open space for dogs to run around. Gets a little muddy in the rain, but can be easily cleaned and the people are friendly.

What an absolute treat to find this dog park.
It's very large, lots of fun agility obstacles and lots of dogs.
When I went there were about twenty dogs in the large dog main area.
All the dogs and humans have been friendly and well behaved 😜

It's a dog park. Nice & big. Plenty of room for your fur baby to run around. Plenty of people to chat with and dogs to frolic with

Good dog park with skatepark right by it so if you got kids and you got dogs you can kill two birds with one stone leave the kids up to skatepark take the dogs over to the dog park boom your day just got shorter getting more done at once lol

Excellent dog park. Well behaved and responsible pet owners. Shy dog area was perfect for my elderly dog. Off leash area is popular and every dog seemed to be having fun. Pretty clean.

Great, chill dog park. Maintained by a local dog dad who enlists the help of other dog lovers & park users. He does a great job, but shouldn't have to do it all on his own!
There's a playground & a skate park nearby.

Always a awesome time coming here! Tons of doggies and both people and dogs are friendly.

The skate park is one of the biggest and best designed around, some smaller quarters, with and without coping (for those who want to build up) there is a massive bowl with a smaller one attached for an easier entry. A 10/10 skatepark 🛹

I like that this dog park is a little larger than some and there is plenty of grass that hasn't been trampled or gravelled. No discredit to any other parks that are a bit smaller. I did not make it out to the back paths outside of the off leash areas but I did pass by the skate park areas which is a cool variety for a dog park. Makes it more diverse for families to visit with pets and such. They also have a sizable shy dog off leash area which is an added bonus. I will visit again :)

We love this little community dog park! My pup and I like to come here in the mornings before there are too many dogs around. It's a good size and well set up so that you can almost always spot your dog (assuming he's not a corgi in the tall grass like mine is). The main off-leash area has multiple benches spread around to sit on, as well as some agility obstacles built in.
Be sure to bring your own water and water bowl for your doggo here as there is no running water nearby.

Great big open space for the dogs to run and play together. Pretty popular so very good chance there will be several other dogs there. The other dog owners I've met seem responsible about their dogs behavior and friendly.

I started bringing my newer owned dog to the park and was doing some things wrong in regards to socialization and training, there was someone who had interjected and offered plenty of advice to correct my mistakes. So far a great community, and a very large fenced area for any sort of activity with your dog. Will return and recommend to others!
