On Thursday dated Dec/8/2022 Went to collect "important doc" at post office at 845 am, Because postman delivery will be done by 6 pm.

But already postman on the road with his job.

One of the " incharge " ,noted our residential area /address and got the letter from the postman and handed over the letter.

I appreciate his professionalism.

Always curt but super efficient and fast.
They also have a post machine, which is nice when the po is closed. However, don't try to mail boxes that are too large. They won't fit in the drop box.

Although the stuff in office never answers their phone. I had the best mailman. Art H, is hands down the best mailman, he is very considerate with your mail, extremely friendly and people person. I never had any issues when Art H became our mailman. I always received my packages when he worked the route. It’s been over three years since we have moved from that area, My husband and son still talk about Mr. H and say he is the best (: THANKS MR. H!

This post office is kind of small. There was a line but it went pretty quick

Clerks were efficient, pleasant and helpful. Avoid lunch time and just after 5PM to avoid long lines. I don't consider calling them an efficient use of the public's time.

What a great group of helpful, nice people that work at the Fairfield Post Office. This is what I observed while I waiting in line for seven minutes. I watched Baljitt get some tissues for a poor guy sneezing. That was nice. Joyce was busy explaining to a customer why it is cheaper to sent a package another way than what the customer had asked for and why it was just as safe to do so. Saved that man some money! The next customer was mad because the postal clerk wouldn't accept a stuffed cheerios box that was raggedy. The clerk refused to ship it. She explained that it was bursting and would fall apart before it got to it's destination. That customer was mad that she had to repack the goods. Joyce still tried to help even though that lady was mad. Joyce...you can't work miracles.

Danilo tried to calm a guy down that was mad. Danilo explained what was happening and told the man that it will take a little time to research his problem. Never raised his voice, just calmly tried to help the yelling guy. Danilo fixed his problem. Heaven help the bad person that threatened our Postal Clerks....

Rhoda was wanting on people and enjoying a customer's new little baby. Rhoda always works with a smile.

Mai....what a jewel. She carefully helped a non-english speaking customer with her problem, never rushing her, just patiently working with the customer. Always with a smile.

Fairfield Post Office on Kentucky Street has the best bunch of people working there. They listen and take care of problems and do it with a smile. Great workers.

Service at the counter generally moves quickly. Appreciate the Self Service Kiosk and anytime access to P.O. Boxes.

If it wasn’t for this location’s understanding and empathy for my mistakes regarding their passport policies, I wouldn’t have my job as a flight attendant now

Michael Barr is an excellent and courteous young postman. He always delivers my mail with a smile.

This post office is a lot better than most to be honest. Don’t just go by the overall rating, give it a try and see for yourself.

My husband and I came in 5 min before closing and still got wonderful customer service from Joyce!

Everyone in there is super nice. And that's one of the cleanest Post Offices I've ever set foot in...

They are quick to get you in and out, and are very friendly.
