The Pines

Nice little restaurant/bar. It has a small patio, and on nice warm days, it fills quickly. The happy hours are from 4 to 6 pm. The small bites are very good and the spicy popcorn welcome was enjoyable.

We found this place in our trip vacation last time to Washington.
I can start by saying the staff was very friendly and I want to give a big shout out to Carly (I hope I got that right). She was our waiter for the night and the least that I can say is that she was AMAZING, with a great attitude ! Always smiling and easy to talk to. She’s the kind of waiter you expect on a night out!
The kitchen staff was incredible as well, there is a kind of tip on the menu where you get a “round of drinks” to the back of the house, And the Chef goes to your table to thank you in person, which we didn’t expect, and we enjoy that very small talk to him, making sure everything on the table was to our pleasure.
Of course the food and drinks were on point not a really pricey spot and with very good vibes and thanks good … Clean restrooms!!
Hope to be back in our next visit and get the opportunity to get Carly as our server once again!

Consistently great. The wings are always tasty and a very nice price on happy hour. Happy hour also has nice nice other options, the menu changes occasionally but not hugely. Seasonal drinks are fun, about 10 beers on tap, 5 rotators. Cozy with regular wait staff that have a great dynamic.

Will definitely be back! Everything was excellent! Started with the Baked Baby Brie...DELISH! Decided on the Smash Burger with bacon, again....DELISH and perfectly portioned. Others in my group had the fish and chips, really good! Parking is a pain but worth it.

Very nice ambience! Went on a Thursday evening for some drinks and food and got a table for two easily (maybe around 6ish PM).
They have quite some appetizers on the menu which we made tried and all were good! A nice beer to go with the appetizers.
There was only one parking lot left when we reached. Not sure if they have any other parking, but the front didnt have many spots. So pls plan accordingly.
Coming to the main course, we were charged extra $4 for swapping fries with mashed potatoes when we ordered steak.
We would definitely go to this place once again and it did have good reviews, good food and service worth mentioning.

My most favorite restaurant in Lake Stevens! Staff are friendly and personable. Everything on their menu is delicious - I have never had a bad meal here! The complimentary popcorn you get before your meal is also delicious

So glad we found this place! Great food, cocktails, service, and atmosphere. Dim warm lighting, dark wood and metal, cozy. It feels upper class but not well to do. Salted and peppered popcorn is served when you arrive instead of the typical bread (I loved it). The bourbon drink I had was amazing and the menu features hearty meals like steaks and burgers, to lighter fare like salads and apps such as tempura cauliflower. I had Fish & Chips which was very good. Lightly battered and golden fried and thick cut fries. Will definitely be back!

Worth every penny, every time! Food? Every item is delicious! Drinks? Ask for them to surprise you and you won’t be disappointed. Staff? Like family. Had an exceptional experience the last two times I visited and waited on by Carly. No matter how busy it got she made sure we were taken cared of one way or another. From the groovy wallpaper to the magnificent outdoor seating, it’s really a place than can serve as a fun dinner spot or a cozy date night. Small plate selections are absolutely to die for. Chef really knows what he’s doing back in the kitchen! I can see myself becoming a regular in no time!

The greatest place in Washington. If you haven’t been here yet, what are you doing?! Load the family up and ship them over to this beautiful establishment. The food is immaculate and delicious, the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The chefs are all very cute as well, good eye candy. The service is fantastic, very attentive and willing to bend over backwards. You must tip well, everyone deserves it. The atmosphere is also amazing, I love the decor and the style of the restaurant. If you live in Lake Stevens, or Snohomish County, do yourself the biggest favor and go experience this place, it’s better than LJs by a long shot and again, cute chefs.

THE absolute best restaurant around. Amazing atmosphere, great music, great service, GREAT food. The loaded fries & the burger are my favorite things on the menu. 10/10

Service and food are first class - this is a new favorite of mine for fish and chips with the best quality and largest piece of cod I have had in the area. Deserts are also notable/delicious. Will be working thru other menu choices in future visits.

Excellent spot, one of our favorites! My wife and I have been coming here for years, even before it was the pines when it was LJ's. Love the vibe, love the appetizers, and some of the best mixed drinks you can get in town. Highly recommend, it's our go-to spot

The tempura cauliflower was OFF THE HOOK!💯 That was a new experience for us. The burgers are ALWAYS a win, the fries are the best around and the staff are FUN and friendly. A favorite place for a while, we will always come back. ( Did I mention the CAULIFLOWER? 😋)

Can I just start off by saying WOW! I think this is as of tonight my favorite restaurant! And I’ve been to a lot of local restaurants. I’m a total foodie and avid cook so I feel like I know my way around quality dining and cuisine! This was it! First off the service started off amazing, nice, welcoming friendly and accommodating! We were sat and greeted by another server who was so personable and energetic! Amazing service so sweet but I didn’t get her name! Dark hair! We started off with the loaded fries and omg how decedent! The fries were perfection with crispy brisket and creamy velvety cheese sauce with a luxury gravy dipping sauce, yum! I ordered the bangers and Brussels spin off of bangers and mash. So good! Brussels we’re tender but had a perfect bitey crunch and the bangers were just tender and flavorful! My fiancé ordered the burger and subbed the fries for the creamy Brussels with bacon sage sauce and holy cow it looked good! And for dessert we got the frangipan cake/pie (spelling?) with raspberry couliee and Chantelly cream (fancy whip cream) it was awesome recipe but I’m not a huge almond fan but good for an almond lover. I got the chocolate torte with the rum raisin ice cream. Rich and so tasty! We also got a scoop of the seasonal sorbet (peach cinnamon) so amazing! All over Amazing 10/10 experience. Will be back as soon as I can! Good job staff and chef!

Frequent flyer. Love the staff, food, and atmosphere. They also have Happy Hour, which is really good and makes my heart happy 😋

A home run everytime I go. They do everything Right. The food, drinks, service etc. we always bring people here that have never been and they leave saying “we always want to go here when we come visit” kudos to the LJ’s/Pines family! Oh, see you again VERY soon.

Love this place! It’s a regular spot for my husband and I and also myself and one of my girlfriends! The baked Brie, St. Helens Tri-tip, Pan Roasted Chicken, Pines Burger are in the regular rotation and never disappoint! Such a great vibe and wonderful service ❤

Carly took such good care of us explaining everything as it was our first time. The environment, the food, and the service was truly amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Our favorite place in town! Great food, even better drinks! The patio is covered, heated, and dog friendly! Can't recommend this place enough.
