El Capitan Mexican Seafood

To me this place is a little hole in the wall. We went for our first time on a Sunday afternoon. We got a molcajete And Costa brava soup. It was delicious! I'm sorry to say but way better than El Pescador. 😌

This is hands-down one of the BEST Mexican restaurants around. I'm picky with Al Pastor & theirs is always delicious. We ordered from Grubhub so I didn't have to cook on my birthday. They sent a note wishing me a happy birthday. The best part was when I opened the cake, there was a candle! :) The customer service is like none other! Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

I stopped in today for my first time. The service was a bit slow, but the food, cleanliness and the friendly service made up for that and more. I had the chile relleno and it was delicious. I had the lunch special, so I tried the Spanish rice and beans, very tasty and fresh too. The guacamole was fresh and bright flavored. This is an eat in or take out place so it is small and quaint. I also appreciated the clean atmosphere as well. I will be back soon to try a shrimp dish.

If it wasn't enough that the food is delicious and the BEST around Camarillo, you have to appreciate the best customer service from the employees. I will be coming back every week and you should too!

I sat on the patio for lunch & had the enchilada combination. Pretty basic plate & it was good. I loved their salsa. The waiter was very kind & on top of our tables needs. It was my first time here & I will be back to try something different next time.

Great food, wonderful service! Nice folks. Good homestyle Mexican food, from Burritos and Tacos to elaborate Shrimp Dishes and grilled Fish you're going to be satisfied! Combined with good Happy Hour beer and wine specials and a sports game on TV you have a great afternoon with friends!

Tucked away in a side street, great food and modestly priced. Their tacos of all kinds of meats available, The shrimp tacos are delicious. The salsa taste fresh, not canned or doctored up.

Hopefully some day they will have longer operating hours.

A no-frills restaurant. Eat here when you need to feed yourself and not in a rush. Chips and dip is on the house so you can eat something while waiting for your main dish. It's a Mexican restaurant that matches my palette which does not agree well with Cilantro and spicy food. The flavor was not overwhelming and the food was cooked just right.
The restrooms are tidy. There is an ample free parking lot which is share with the other tenants of the place.
Try this out and be the judge yourself.

Outstanding Service, Exceptional foods menu too select from, foods was prepared perfectly just right not overly spicy, great prices, super great specials, Staff exceptionally friendly. If you enjoy great Mexican seafood this place is a must.

From ordering to eating it was an enjoyable experience that insured that I will be returning to try another burrito from their menu. After ordering my burrito to go, I waited in what honestly didn't feel that long to get an awesome burrito!!

This place is hidden in a strip mall, completely unassuming. The food is amazing, great prices and friendly service. They have taco Tuesdays and good Mexican beer. Try the seafood cocktails and the fish tacos.

Look here, if theres ever a time youre craving marinated pork (al pastor) give this little jam a chance. Loved the charming waitress, and the chef even came out and chilled with us for a few. Cool dude, gave us a slice of this flan hybrid with chocolate, HELLA GOOD, definitely get this dessert. Its got the latino feel to it, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a classic mexican eatery. Shoutout to JULIOOOO

I had a very good carne asada burrito. They gave me chips and salsa while I waited. It came out hot and the customer service was excellent! I’ll definitely be back!
