Peninsula Park

The Old Hotel is Creepy…. Please Oxnard, put those developers to work and revitalize the whole harbor again…. Would love to always visit a welcoming and fully functioning harbor area. I wonder what the wait is to fix this Peninsula and the Wharf. Please fix Channel Islands Harbor, this hotel area sucks but the surrounding areas are nice. 😊🤙🏼

Had my son's dad's celebration of life here and it was absolutely the perfect place that people that take care of the park are so nice and they were so good to us we really had a great time and no one gave us any problems all the people that walk their dogs there and live around there and guard the park sort of there is nothing that I can say about this park it is a blessed place

Perfect location to watch fireworks. Close to the dock, hotel and places to eat. Good view and not as crowded.

Nice place to watch boats and people. Lots of grass and nice playground for the kids. Bathrooms are about typical of a park. We saw a sea lion!!

Very nice small park...has a small play area with slides..overlooks the hardbor...and found seals as well..

Great little hidden gem! They host a ton of small club meetings at there clubhouse which has wheelchair accessible male and female bathrooms . Along with ample parking they have a 10 and under playground and tennis courts as well as a large open field for dogs it borders the boardwalk on the channels and a nice view of all the anchorages great place to go 7 days a week!!!

This place has a great recovery at the little building up by the water in the park they have AA meetings every morning at 7:00 a.m. if you're not looking for a meeting in the Park's nice place to have a picnic and look out over the harbor has a beautiful sunset and just a short walk down the street you can find toppers Pizza and many other local food options across the harbor

Nice park for the family. Don't tell anyone it's our secret. PS theirs a private little beach 🏖 enjoy!!!

Beautiful view of Channel Islands Harbor. Beautiful green grass with spaced out cement tables and benches. Play area for kids. 2 tennis courts open to public. Close parking. Usually has summer events.

Great place to get away in the city, right next to the best local abandoned property, convenient AA meetings, playground, tennis courts, bathrooms, waterfront with plenty of dock space, BBQ's and picnic benches, dog friendly, and the best over watered grass around. Don't let the kids wander past the bordering shrubs on the hotel property and you won't have to worry about them finding the pointy end of a used hypodermic junkie harpoon. Seriously, security at the hotel is one guard at night and there has been an influx of less than scrupulous transients making this area their home, so be aware that the city does excellent job on the park, but one step beyond is a big risk for kids and pets. I rated 5 stars because the park is worth it, keep it clean people, most of you fail miserably at picking up your trash- just take a look in the water.

Nice little park at the beautiful harbor. Theres a great farmers market near here on sundays with fresh produce, cooked foods, arts and crafts. I especially like riding my bike down here at night and looking at the lights of the harbor reflect on the water with the harbor while the harbor seals play around on the docks :)

It was beautiful i grew up in oxnard and had never had the chance to go here until now my kids had a great time it was good having a bbq with all kinds of family there the only thing is the motel next door looks super creepy there but the park was well maintaned also my kids loved it!! You can rent boats,pedal boats,kayaks, cheap well affordable actually honestly recommend to all ages great view.

Park & playground are very well-kept! See dogs daily! No clear rules about leashing, but there have been no accidents involving dogs or drugs!

Just beautiful. Peaceful and appreciative.
