Yuba-Sutter Training Zone

Been a member of the Training Zone for several years and just got my first workout in at the new spot. I loved the charm and character of the D street location, but this is definitely an upgrade. Its absolutely obvious Chis and his team went all in and built a really beautiful facility. Thank you for investing in our health and wellness TZ. Its obviously important to you and Im confident your members will appreciate it! 👊👊 I know I will!

This old building was an old CVS and sat here unused for years. It was ruined by homeless, the roof was full of graffiti and the air conditioning equipment was all scrapped and torn apart by scavengers. Glad this building was turned into a gym and reborn into something for the community

I don’t know how anyone can leave this gym a poor review. Sure parking sucks sometimes but that’s life. Staff is always friendly, there is rarely equipment out of service, and it’s such a motivating gym. Lots of variety, love the different room options. Lastly, Deana in kids club treats all of our kids as family, she is always so happy and talks to everyone like life long friends.

I do have to say I absolutely love this place. I have been to all of the other gyms in the area and during Corona they were the only one open. Honestly I really got to know everybody there and it is just a family type atmosphere.

When I don't show up people ask me where I am and why I haven't been there. There's not many places you find that kind of accountability

Great place wonderful helpful staff. The gym has something for everyone and it's convenient in location. There is a upstairs ladies gym if your like myself and are a little self conscious lol.

I have never joined a gym before an they make u feel welcome at any age! Yoga class there is awesome with great instructors.i never thought I would like yoga but it does give u a work out!

Thank you for being the one location that had a public bathroom! I literally had an accident trying to find a bathroom down this street! Where as you allowed me to sign a liability form to use the restroom to clean up!

Emilio provides great customer service and works at the front desk. Whenever I am not able to find a piece of equipment he is always willing to help find it and is always on top of everything. Super nice and respectful guy!

Been going since Early April 2022. Staff is awesome, very helpful! Great equipment, and lots of to chose from.

Good people clean gym, nice sauna. They also have a location in Grass Valley.

This is a great gym. The workers are cool as can be. Its an honor to train here. Everyone keeps to their self and its a real judgement free zone with lots of space and rooms to work out in. Its the most welcoming gym ive been to.

Absolutely love this place! Love the employees, love the atmosphere! Love that this place is full of normal people working hard, not crazy instagram influencers working to show off their fit. Keep it up, TZ!

Love this Gym. The classes great and the trainers are amazing. The staff have been friendly, and helpful. Clean facilities. The membership is very affordable. I am very happy with Training Zone.

I had a membership a couple years ago. The staff are all professional and friendly. The owner even took the time to chat with me and give me a pep talk. He is a cool guy (and very good looking too, wink wink).
There is a great, encouraging atmosphere. Of course, lots of hot bodies to be distracted by. Haha. Also lots of variety in the equipment, which is easy to learn to use with helpful instructions. I really miss Training Zone. But without transportation, I would have a hard time getting there enough to really get much out of a membership right now. Sometime soon, I hope to return and finally get in shape for the first time in my life.

Love the staff!!! The equipment is clean and so is the gym! I appreciate the women’s area, sauna, daycare, rock climbing wall, classes, and endless positive vibes!

This gym is badass has everything you need for a great workout. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

when I moved here from Idaho I didn't know my way around very well and when I found a gym within 2 miles of my new place I was STOKED!! It was a bit hard going from a gym that was open to members 24hours a day to one that wasn't but I quickly got used to it. And now they are open 24hours!!!
They offer a variety of classes throught the day, but not may during evening hours. With my work schedule being 9-6 I find that sometimes I have to race across the bridge from Yuba to get to the 6:30 classes on time, but they are worth it!! I also like that there is a "womens only" area so that we don't have to work out around a bunch of men on those days we are feeling "fat" lol.
Most of the staff is always friendly and helpful whenever needed, however there is a girl at the front desk who always seems to be scowling and is rude.
The price isn't too bad either, especially compared to some of the other gyms in the area that don't have good reputations.
They also have a kids zone which I think is AWESOME, even though I don't have kids! It is not only a day-care type thing for parents who want to work out but have no child care, they also take them out and do activities to keep them active. They dance in the dance room, they stretch and run on the basketball court and they even have rock climbing for the kids 40+lbs. The only thing missing from this gym is a pool!!!!
