Hope Church

I've been searching for a little while now for a new "home" church and believe with all my heart that the Lord led me, and my son and his family to this community of believers. So loving and welcoming, down to earth and real! No pretense here. No crazy loud music, strobe lights and a rock star preacher. But at the same time filled with life, the Holy Spirit, nothing boring here! Just a come as you are with all your problems, brokenness, and with the little or big faith you may have...the way Jesus loves and accepts us! Pastor Andrew is the son of the first Pastor I ever had, Tom Ferguson. I have such great memories of Pastor Tom and those early days that I walked with Jesus. Andrew periodically announces "Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, I present to you, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords - Jesus Christ". We all then cheer and whistle as loud as we can. He figured, and so do I, if we can hoot and holler for sports teams, celebrities, etc...mere human beings, then why shouldn't we do that even more with the Almighty God of the Universe. After all, He is the epitome of Fame and He is eternal. I love Hope Church (appropriately named) and 'hope' they continue that practice, and just being a genuine, loving church! Five stars for sure! Love the atmosphere, everyone is welcoming from day one , great praise and worship and pastor Andrew delivers great messages every week. Love the bible studyclasses they always have to offer. I plan to go here for yrs to come.
