Hector's Taqueria Fresh Mexican Food

I recently started frequenting this place and I absolutely love their food. The grilled chicken quesadilla is my favorite and the burrito Is super good 💯 My bf loves their tacos. Always friendly service and they’re pretty quick. I highly recommend this place as their food is fresh, delicious and hasn’t give me any issues.

Had my car worked on would take a few hrs so was hungry but not for a hamburger which is near by
Wow they have 3 different size burritos one just meat 2nd meat avacado beans and lettece tomatoes third has rice they are big fills you and reasonable prices for the qty

Great little place, decided to try it out when visiting the area, tried their Asada fries, they allow you to have the pico/guac/sour cream on the side, they forgot to put it in our bag and when I went home I saw it wasn't there. A little bummed but it was still good with just the asada and cheese on the fries. Highly recommend the salsa Verde for it, just the right amount of heat to enjoy!

Literally one of the best Mexican places I've been too, the carne asada tacos were some of the best I've ever had, 10/10 recommend

Will definitely be back!! Wish they were on the east coast. Delicious food & friendly staff. Highly recommend checking out this joint and getting the El pastor tacos!

Decided to try this place since we were near the outlets. The horchata is worth going alone. We had a super burrito and a carne asada quesadilla. The cheese was very delicious and the burrito was big. You get a lot of food for your $ here.

Not fancy…but incredible Authentic food. Hector comes out to greet you! Located in an old Taco Bell building (I think). Our first visit was today, and certainly our last!

Consistent quality food in an old Taco Bell. Been eating the food here for several years and I think they make the best tacos in Camarillo. Super taco is the go to with two grilled tortillas with melted cheese, pinto beans, meat, pico de gallo, and a slice of avacado. Two of those with their homemade chips on the side make the perfect meal. The chips are perfect for scooping up all the extra taco stuff that inevitably falls out of the them! Soo good.

They have the best shrimp tacos in town. Simple and delicious! Also, their beans are amazing, you can tell the quality of the Mexican food by the beans they serve, these are straight from “abuelas olla”. I wish they were open on Sundays but I get that Sunday is considered the day of rest. 😌

Don't hesitate... just go! The food is amazing at Hectors and the drink the cashier recommended was delicious. I dont remember what it was but it was a mix of two different drinks.

My wife and I strolled in here to recharge from an event at the Community Center Park, we loved it. We got the super burrito with grilled chicken and carne asada fries, it was great. The flavor from the asada was memorable and we didn't have any fatty chewy bits in it. The grilled chicken was quality with a pleasing taste. The cheese was melted and stringy which we love. The ingredients tasted fresh. Also, the man behind the counter had a welcoming attitude with a servant heart.

We will be coming back for sure. Thank you!

Traveling from Phoenix to Santa Babara and we end up at Hector"s along the way. What a great stop. Great Mexican food for sure
This was an awesome place just off the 101 north. Do not miss this one. Your loss!

Wow. Just happened on Hector's after going to Patty's Gymnastics and it is just the greatest hole in the wall authentic, super friendly and it's so good that we've made it a "thing". We stop by every Wednesday when we go to Patty's. We live further so we don't get up to Camarillo very often.

Believe me, if we are ever passing by on the 101 and we're hungry. Hector's is our place.

I tried him for the 1st time And I definitely will be back. I tried the super taco for tacoas well as the shrimp taco. Everything was fresh and restaurant was clean and very good service. I do recommend that you put them on your speed dial to call ahead if you're in a hurry because they do fill up very fast.

Fresh, homemade food! I came from out of town and enjoyed it tremendously. Very small, so perfect for eating in your car. The food was delicious. Small caveat: guacamole is actually guacamole salsa (still liked it though). So beware before you buy. Lovely place, would go again!

Great place to grab some really good Mexican food. Food and service is great, not really a lot of room to eat. More of a place to get awesome takeout at a great price.

Wow I was shocked by how good this place is. Exceeded my expectations for sure. Good size portions for a fair price. If you love Mexican food then I'd highly recommend trying this place out. I went because I always see quite a few people eating there all of the time which is of course a good sign. Try their guacamole which is more of a sauce rather than chunky which is preferable to me. Green sauce is also dank.

My daughter and I love eating at Hector's. The food and service is great and so is Hector!!
