Holiday Inn Express Port Hueneme, an IHG Hotel

Right on the beach! Walking distance to food and drink. Room was very clean and one young maid was pushing a cart with a bad wheel and she smiled! I was so surprised with all jeers and snooty glances now a days, well I had to bring that up. There was a band Thursday night sounded good I was checking in, so can't comment too much. Anywho I WILL stay here again! Thank you

Great place to lay your head for the week ! Pool ! Hot tub! Breakfast! And gym! Barbells 15lbs-50lbs plus treadmills and weighted balls . Gym rooms kinda small though

An excellent Holiday Inn! Clean and nicely sized rooms on a lovely property. Close to the Port, walking distance to the beach, and very close to Ventura. 👍

It's all about the beach....miles of sand....peaceful community...excellent seafood on the boardwalk.. all one block from your room. Dan the Pizza man is across the street (5*'s)

Quiet, clean and only ONE BLOCK from the railroad crossing seen at the end of Back to the Future III! It's two blocks from VFW and a straight shot to the base gate.

The breakfast is perfectly good, and there are only two issues I had: (a) the fluffy pillows de-fluff as soon as my head hit them, as if they're filled with something resembling cotton candy. Bring your own pillow and, if you can't, be ready to stack several; and (b) I don't know what architect thought it was a good idea to pave the entry with cobblestone, but luggage carts don't do well on that stuff. At all. This is a case wherein function should override aesthetics.

Otherwise, a great stay.

Not sure some of these complaints. I travel a bunch and I had no issues with anything. Clean rooms, clean beds, comfortable beds, clean towels. Staff was all nice and answered questions. I'd come back here anytime.

The staff was all very friendly here and accommodating! The night male employee and Eileen (Security) were amazing and went above and beyond to help me. If it weren’t for their advice, I would’ve missed my flight! I will come back again on my next trip!

We were in town, for nephew's wedding. Very nice hotel, great staff! Our room was spacious, spotless, and very quiet. The breakfast room was definitely large enough, for all. The offerings were enough, to get us going, on the road. I would surely stay at this hotel, again!

Best hotel in the area! Had a wonderful continental breakfast and took a walk to the Hueneme pier in just minutes! Updated rooms. Thank you Holiday Inn, Port Hueneme!

Safe locality. Room was clean. Employees were friendly. The pool was great and we got fresh new towels and dryer was good as well.

Good to have Pizza Man Dan’s at a walkable distance.
Breakfast can be better for vegetarians.

This place is awesome. The location is perfect. It is walking distance from the beach. Very close to great places to eat and local places to visit.
The neighborhood is quiet, nice.
The rooms are clean, bathrooms decent size,suite good sized.
I turned on the hot water and got hot water immediately, didn't have to run it to warm up.
There's continental breakfast,which is ok,but plenty of nearby breakfast options to bike,walk or drive to.

Very nice clean ample room... lots of places to sit in the lobby and just relax. Wifi very reliable. Loved the smartcast TV feature 👌. Not your typical hotel smell in the hallways. Attentive stuff. So yes 5 stars 🌟

Great place. Located close to lots of retail shops as well as restaurants. Close to the beach if that's what you like.

Rooms are fairly new. Bf was a 6 out of 10. Standard morning breakfast items. With eggs, sausage and biscuits w gravy.

Great rooms with microwave and refrigerator. And, the interactive TV allows you to cast from your phone, view your reservation and bill, and even check out. Very nice!

Very clean and well organized hotel. Staff are very professional and helpful. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and fully stocked. I forgot my razor and toothbrush but the front desk was able to accommodate me.

Although the complimentary breakfast normally opens at 6:30am, management appears to have realized a large percentage of guests are on work travel and so breakfast is available much earlier than 6:30.

I would stay for work travel or if I planned to make a personal trip to the area.

Hotel was super clean, nice, and within walking distance to the beach. Especially loved the gal that was in charge of breakfast area. She was fantastic! She was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of every morning. My two yr old daughter especially loved her and referred to her as "my friend". I will definitely stay there again if our travels lead us back.

We had a great experience here. Honestly the staff in the breakfast area were all very kind. We interacted more with these employees than almost anyone else so their kindness and helpfulness did not go unnoticed. Rooms were also very clean. We got two rooms and they put us together without me having to ask first. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and spacious. The suite I stayed in had 2 queen beds, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Toilet/shower is separate from the sink (closed door), which I like. The breakfast offered plenty of choices, and the area was easy to access and well-staffed. Parking was ample. The staff was friendly and pleasant. I would stay here again.
