Quest Diagnostics Ventura Loma Vista - Employer Drug Testing Not Offered

I made an appointment online. I arrived a few minutes early so I filled out the information on the virtual screen in the waiting room and sat down. I waited maybe 5 minutes and was called. The technician was very friendly and joked with me when I mistakenly copied a Visa card instead of my insurance card via the virtual system. She was funny and put me at ease. The blood draw was quick and painless.

The five stars that I’m leaving, are purely, because Joyce was so amazing at her job. Not only did she make my daughter feel comfortable getting her blood drawn but she made me feel extremely comfortable As well. My daughter has a hard vein to hit, and Joyce made sure that she felt at ease the entire time. If it wasn’t for Joyce, I would’ve given a One star review

I use the Loma Vista location almost exclusively. The techs are consistently welcoming and very capable and the facility is clean and efficient. Parking on busy mornings can be tight but the staff keeps things moving.

Hot tip for the Oxnard office: Both my Tesla GPS and the Google Maps try to direct me to the church parking lot BEHIND your office - which has a 6-foot fence visible from the office waiting room. That fact caused me to be late for my appointment there. GPS to the Loma Vista office was perfect.

I VISITED THIS LAB TODAY. PARKING EASY, WAITING ROOM PLENTY OF SEATING, SIGNING IN SIMPLE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS EXCELLENT, DID NOT FEEL ANY NEEDLE ENTRY. MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 9AM AND I WAS BACK IN MY CAR AT 9:15AM. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. HOWEVER, AFTER REMOVING THE NEEDLE FROM MY ARM THE TECHNICIAN PLACED A PIECE OF GAUZE OVER THE PUNCTURE SITE AND SECURED IT WITH A PIECE OF PAPER TAPE. TWO HOURS LATER BEFORE MY SHOWER I REMOVED THE TAPE. THAT WAS THE MOST PAINFUL ASPECT TO MY EXPERIENCE. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY LABS IN THE PAST AND I AM A RETIRED OBGYN PHYSICIAN. MOST LABS TODAY USE COBAN OR SIMILAR SELF ADHERING TAPE TO SECURE THE PUNCTURE SITE (INCLUDING OTHER QUEST FACILITIES). MY SUGGESTION, CHANGE THE TECHNIQUE AT THE 2991 LOMA VISTA SITE!!! I SHALL RETURN HERE AND TRY TO REMEMBER TO BRING MY OWN COBAN AS WILL MY GIRLFRIEND.

If people make an appointment online and check in on time there shouldn't be a problem. I go to this location frequently and I have NEVER seen a walk in go ahead of me, maybe it was a drop off?. You can look at the board to see the wait time. I can't imagine a person sitting at the front answering multiple calls at the same time as answering all the grouches waiting! I just went in again yesterday and had a lovely young lady take good care of me with a very friendly attitude.

I haven’t gotten lab work done in years so I was definitely nervous going into this, but Quest was so quick and overall such an easy experience that I couldn’t help but leave a review! I also wanted to majorly shout out Jessica who made me feel SO comfortable throughout the process- she was so friendly, reassuring and so great!!

My experience here was great! As a walk in I did have to wait about 20 minutes but once I got called back it was a very fast process. Christina drew my blood and was so sweet, kind, and professional. She made the process very easy. Thank you!!

Made appointment and got called in immediately when i walked in! The girl was super friendly and even told me happy early birthday cuz she noticed it was coming up soon!

Great experience. I showed up five minutes before my appointment, got temperature checked at the door, got called at my appointment time on the dot, and had blood drawn and sent on my way in 10 minutes. Staff were a little frazzled in the lobby handling the entrance, but were friendly anyway.

I have been in this lab a dozen times over the last year and have found the lab techs very efficient and skilled. One time I had to wait 15 minutes, no big deal. I have started making online appointments which saves a lot of time. I have never waited more that 15 minutes. I thin this is a really good lab.

Appointment was in and out, may 10 minutes.

Big shout out to Joyce/Wonder Woman!!! One Awesome Woman, she was knowledgeable, caring and professional at her job…Thanks again and if in any need of blood work please only ask for Joyce/Wonder Woman!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Joyce took my blood and she was an absolute pleasure to talk with. She is so sweet and to be honest i didn’t feel a thing very good at her job! Thank you Joyce!!!

I had a great experience at this lab. They get the job done and I appreciate that. The woman taking my blood was a pro. No problem finding my vein and pain free even though she took 5 viles of blood. ☺

I highly recommend! My daughter needed a blood test. Rea took care of her. Souch a professional and nice person!

Just a shout out to Joyce at the Loma Vista quest on her professional manner and expertise in administering labwork first thing in the a.m. The blood draw was effortless and her attitude was very cheerful.

This location has a very helpful staff. My blood draw was about as easy as it could've been. Joyce was great!

Monica Humphries was my phlebotomist today and she turned what is a typically a stressful and unpleasant experience into an actually enjoyable one. Great bedside manor and I wish I could bring her to Louisiana!!! Thank you Monica!!!
