Totally mom and pop from the 70s soul-food style. Friendly local staff, walls covered in funny bumper stickers. Great breafast/brunch at reasonable "California" price. Toast is perfectly toasted. Eggs perfectly poached. Blueberry streussal French toast had an almost fried dough taste that is well-paired with the boisenberry syrup.

I'm from out of town so I only had one experience here. I can tell you the coffee was very good as was the Salmon Benedict. Owners were super nice and I would definitely return.

Love this place! Good portion, home type cooking. Price is affordable and atmosphere is comfortable plus love the decorations on wall. For sure I'll be back again

Place is great,setting back in time ,old school, light-hearted advice and quotes all over the walls friendly people and delicious food with reasonable prices.

It's been longer than we liked to try Dorothy's, mostly because it's cash only. We finally did and we loved it. All your breakfast favorites at great prices. Can't wait to go back.

While looking for antiques, we found this wonderful homey restaurant & had a great experience. Quick friendly service. We had the breakfast burrito & jalapeno bacon Benedict & we really enjoyed both meals. Highly recommend!

First time. Really great breakfast. You get alot for the price. And the staff was amazing and so friendly. It's a small place so you might have to wait. I normally would leave if the line is too long. When I go back. I will definitely will wait to enjoy the breakfast there again.

Delicious food and great staff. Our server Tiffany was really spectacular. She kept my coffee hot and was so sweet to my toddler at 6am. We had a wonderful experience!

The best service and food! Jalapeno bacon bennie and hashbrowns are done perfectly! Can't find this homestyle cooking and retro atmosphere anywhere! I have been coming for 20 years and always get consistent perfect service and it is always good to see Dorothy who is still a lil spitfire business woman! Staff is always perfect as Thanks girl!!!! 👍

Wonderful service, a homey atmosphere, and delicious food. There's really not much more you can ask for. As always I was very happy with the jalapeno bacon plate. 10 out of 10 as always

This is the perfect place to go for a quick bite in a super homey environment. Whenever I go in it’s the same wait staff and they always make you feel at home. Plus there’s a bunch of wacky stuff on the walls. It’s well priced and the food is great. Don’t forget to bring cash though. They’re a cash only type of place but there is an ATM on site. ENJOY!

This is a down home place. Like the old time west or current rural USA. The food is great for breakfast or lunch and the atmosphere is small funky and straight simple. I enjoyed the eggs, fresh biscuits and marbel wheat toast for breakfast. Dorothy is often present and I feel like it's back to rural South Dakota. Enjoy the chow and the no nonsense atmosphere in old Town Camarillo CA.

Eggs and crisp bacon for breakfast, exactly the way I like with potatoes and toast. Excellent corned beef hash benedict. Love their friendly service and their homey atmosphere. Highly-recommended !

It's like going back in time to the old dinners. Family owned,large portions and the food is great. We usually see a local farmer with a John Deere hat enjoying a meal. They only take cash but have an ATM mechine in sight.

Was our first visit here, and all i can say is if youre searching for a good old fashion made at home like momma used to make, COME HERE!! Eggs taste farm fresh, biscuits were light, fluffy and with a beautiful salty butter glaze! Gravy was plentiful (side order $1.00) and is rich homemade white gravy w sausage crumbles. Homefries are delicious. Also: order the cinnamon roll cake to nibnle w your coffee before your meal, TO DIE FOR! DEFNITELY A GREAT BREAKFAST! Service is quick, the owner Dorothy is right in there working like a champ. Cool bonus, they have old fashioned crank style cash register...and they use it! Tip: bring cash, no cards accepted here😊

I've been going to Dorothy's Chuck Wagon for decades and it's always a treat. Haven't been there for a while and decided to go back and it was like seeing old friends again! I'd recommend Dorothy's to anyone.
