My son and I were fishing in a very remote area on the boulder mountain. We had a flat tire on our side by side that came off the rim. We had no way of repairing it, or getting it off the mountain. We were very fortunate to run into Jeremy rider who was well prepared with everything we needed to get us up and running again. He’s a very nice guy and was very willing to help. I would recommend rider tire and automotive to anyone.

This is a group of experienced, friendly, stand-up guys with a lot of integrity. Larry and his team took great care of our car and the cost was much lower than expected. We will absolutely be coming back!

Took my 83 c10 to them to have a tune up and they went above and beyond and found a few more things to fix which it needed. Runs amazing now, family owned and operated locally here in Ivins, fair priced and great service!

I had a slow leak in a tire and found there was a nail in it. I stopped by to see if this shop could help me out. Jeremy was very pleasant, had a wonderful/ genuine smile, but I could tell he was pretty busy. I asked if he could fix it in the near future and we set up a time for the next day. When I arrived at the appointed time he was ready waiting for me and got me in and out in 30 minutes. Very reasonable. Lots of integrity. Very nice people. Highly recommend!

Larry and his team are hands down the best mechanics around. They have fixed so many things on my car and are consistently keeping me on the road.
Their turn around time is fast and they are HONEST as the day is long.
I thought I needed a new cv joint so I had Larry Order all the necessary stuff for it before I dropped it off. When it was done he said it was just the shroud and it needed new retainer clips. They could have easily gone the other route and I wouldn’t have known any better. I’m a Happy and loyal customer for life.

I'm new to the St. George area. I just got my back brakes and rotors replaced at Rider’s and my experience was fantastic. The work was completed in a timely manner as promised. The price was very fair. My mom got a new set of tires there last week and had the same experience. I would definitely recommend Rider’s to anyone looking for a good auto repair shop.

TL;DR High quality service, very reasonable prices, and up-front honesty. Which is why I waited ~2 weeks w/out power steering till they had an opening.

I had a bad tensioner pulley on an 05 Neon w/ ~122k on it (got it around 88k) and after doing some research I realized that it was probably best to go ahead and do the timing belt, water pump, motor mounts, serpentine belts, etc. (The way the 2005 Dodge neon was made requires exposing the timing belt to change the tensioner pulley...🤯) Anyway, they were going to do all that and replace the engine cover-$$ that the tensioner pulley was attached to and after taking the old one off, they realized it was still in good condition so they just swapped out the pulleys and saved me some 💲💲💵.

They took the time to walk me through how everything went, showed me the replaced parts without me asking, and gave me a heads up that the clutch was close to going out and to be careful with it. Didn't ask me if I wanted to do it now, no pressure whatsoever. In fact, I actually asked for a quote on it and they obliged happily. Still didn't ask for the sale and thanked me for my business on my way out!

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! We are from slc and our tire blew out on our way home from vacation. Even though they were extremely busy they took the time to not only put our tire on but went out of there way to find one so we could get back on the road. I'm so grateful for them going above and beyond. If I lived in this area i would go no where else to get work done on my vehicles. Absolutely amazing!! Thank you for all you did!

I called a few places before finding Larry. He was highly recommended by another auto shop, stating “Larry is an honest man who does good work.” As with everything, a high recommendation from a person is always a good idea, and he got one from a competitor!! My pickup a/c was in need of diagnosis and work. Everywhere was booked up for a few days, and so was Larry. He took the time to listen to my truck issues and was still able to squeeze me in for at least a diagnosis. Larry and his crew not only figured out what was going on but they were also able to get it up and running in less than an hour!!! They really went out of their way to help out! I stopped by this garage on my way home to ask a question about my battery.(I live in a different town 40 miles away) I had been told by my auto dealership that I needed to replace my battery cables. (At a cost of several hundred dollars). The mechanic on duty, John Rider, stopped what he was doing and checked my battery to find it extremely corroded. He cleaned it up, ordered a new part and scheduled a follow-up appointment to replace it when it comes in. It turns out that I don't need the whole cable system that the dealer was trying to sell me. I have prepaid for the service and will walk away paying $127.00. I believe I have found my new mechanic. Thanks John! 😊

The owner of this shop is honest to a fault. He has done a lot of work on my vehicle. On one occasion there was a problem with the work done, as will sometimes happen. I talked to Larry. He told me to bring it back in. He fixed it and refused to take any money for the final repair. He has my business from now on.

I love this place. They have the best mechanics. They are so honest and reliable. They always go over with you what they did, and will even show you the old parts. I tell people about them all the time.
