Buck's Ace Hardware

The service at the Santa Clara Ace Hardware store is outstanding. I'm no longer good at remembering names but you feel like family there and most of the time, the management address me as "my friend or call me by name". If I was looking for retail work (and I'm not) I'd want to work with their team. They are the best and deserve my business.

Nice hardware store, very helpful staff. They need to carry more 25 lb bags of water softener pellets though! They're very popular with us older girls!

Made a visit to Bucks in Santa Clara, nice store, friendly people. This was unlike other Ace stores, fishing gear, hunting, guns, ammo, and more. Today, I needed our knives sharpened in the event Dexter shows up. Each knife sharpened cost $6.99, completely robotic. So, I decided to do a video of the process, quite impressive.

This Ace Hardware is undoubtedly one of the best there is. It has the best customer service, (many, many service reps. At Other places should get a lesson from these people on how to get customer service right. You can find a lot of great, high-quality stuff here, and they even offer free popcorn! This Ace is definitely the place.

This place is great. My kids love going for the free popcorn and soda fountain. I love it for the fishing, camping, guns, and BBQ aisles.

If you’re sick of poor service, being asked for a tip at the drive-through window, and everything else that’s wrong with businesses today then come to this store. It has been a long time since I’ve seen and received service like this. The place is clean, neat, and they have people everywhere willing to help. I would honestly come here just to walk around. If I need something for my home, I will drive 30 miles out of my way to come here. It’s seriously that good.

Huge selection of things to buy. This ace hardware is massive and has so much to look at. They even have a pretty big firearm section in the corner that has ammo and accessories and a good size selection of firearms. They offer popcorn bags for free that you can pick up when you walk in or when you leave but it is in a popcorn maker right next to the entrance. Staff are friendly and will offer to help you find anything you are looking for. Hasn't been super busy any of the times I have gone and can usually be in and out pretty fast if you already know what you are looking for.

Love this Ace Hardware! It's so open and clean, it almost feels like they don't have customers because everything is so perfectly displayed, yet they seemed fairly busy. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, and I love their camping section. But I mean seriously, do kids shop here, have you seen how perfect their hard animal section is?

Who would have known a hardware store would be THE BEST place to buy holiday decorations, but seriously, check it out. It'll blow your mind. Let the spouse ally the tool isle and you can enjoy some festive fun. Also, the free popcorn is a generous bonus!

The employees professional & caring service has been above par each time we shop here. All the basics are here & the extras (decor, toys,treats) are unique & well made.

We visited Ace to look at guns. Scott was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly to talk with. He showed us a variety of guns, explaining the differences of each one we looked at, and also educated us on gun terminology. This was very impressive and helped us in our search for the right product. We will definitely be back once we decide which ones to purchase.

Absolutely love the store! They are friendly they treat you with respect they ask you if you need help finding something and if you do they will track it down even if it takes two or three of them. I’ve had a wonderful experience shopping here even as recent as today!
