Oxnard Public Library - Main Library

Beautiful library, well organized with lots of information on hand for any true learners. Wish i could have stayed in Oxnard just for this library. Love the outdoor seating. Thanks for the charge.

Good place to book a private study room for three hours. Libraries are the best place to get work done without distractions. This is one of my go to spots to study for many years. Sometimes I donate. Staff is usually helpful with any concerns too.

Only time I've had an inconvenience with noise was when a local school band was practicing inside the building, the private study rooms are convenient during situations as such.

Came, Saw and conquered. Won 1st place on this day. Even read a book or two. Leaving this sector full of knowledge 👍

The Oxnard Library is a wonderful resource and the staff are very helpful. Joann and Ms. Patty were particularly kind. There is a good selection of Test Prep Study Guides for government jobs. The children's section is clean and full of fun things to play with.

There is a secure ballot drop-off box outside of the door on A Street.

I love spending time here with the kids! There are so many amazing activities and events hosted for the children of the community. I can't wait for things to get back to normal so the Kids and I can continue to create memorable and educational memories here at the Library.

UPDATE: PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY'S SALE SECTION. It's insane how many sought after books are available for $.25-1.00. I'm talking Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Kazuo Ishiguro, and tons of classics(great for finding cheap required reading.)

Well organized and spacious. Definitely check out the library catalog on the Oxnard Library website! Being able to look up books and save them for later on my phone helped me so much, once saved I can see exactly where the book is shelved for easy finding. It also gives options to place books on hold! Incredibly helpful as you can make note of which books you've read. P.S! Check out the books available for purchase at the entrance! I can't believe I got a very good copy of Anna Karenina for $0.50.

This is a really well stocked, two story library in downtown Oxnard. The entire first floor is for magazines, DVDs and for children's books. The second floor is for young adult, fiction, non fiction and research books.

The Tuskegee Airmen Legacy Project in conjunction with H.E.R.O.E.S. and Imagination currently have several displays in the library celebrating Black History month and the accomplishments of African Americans. On exhibition are a tribute to the Buffalo Soldiers, Tuskegee Airmen and Freedom Fighters like Rev. Dr.artin Luther King Jr. and President Barack Obama. Come see the role Eleanor Roosevelt played in helping the Black Soldiers fight for the "Double V" during World War II.

Today there a reenactment of a period storyline. I loved hearing the lady. Singing I Love you truly dear. Reminded me of my parents. Thank You

Been coming here since I was a kid. Staff isn't very representative of the community, but they're still friendly. Plenty of study space, and a parking lot that allows you to be there all day!

Best library ever I like to get their movies and books very nice people

My first time here was 5 years ago. Its a hub for HOMELESS people. (Nothing wrong with that) I just notice they are there from the minute they open to the minute they close

Two floors very quiet, plenty of study space, dvds/cds, books. What more do you need?
