I miss this place. I was there all the time, always something great playing. Big names, small budgets that are really about the art. NO Marvel Comics here. Saw beautiful films, great storylines, great performances. I MISS THIS PLACE!

I was at this theater pre-covid and the seats were comfortable, the entire place including ladies room very clean. Adorable concession stand reminiscent of old time theaters. Popcorn with REAL BUTTER!
Since they have reopened sadly there are no films of interest to me, and they announced they'll be closing down again. I hope they come back when it's safe and are able to obtain more mainstream indie films ... does that even make sense?

This is one of my go-to spots when it's a hard to find movie, often showing Independent films that are actually very very good. This old theater is still in very good shape and kept up well by the owners. I'm 55 years old and I remember coming here when I was in high school to watch Mad Max. My only concern at times is that the projector bulb and may not get changed as often as it should but so far that doesn't seem to be an issue.

This is a great little theater tucked away in a shipping center off of Daily Dr is difficult to see from normal traffic, but worth finding it. They often have obscure films not shown elsewhere. Sometimes they even have nights where they show retro films. The popcorn is always fresh and they have an assortment of coffees with plenty of options for flavoring said coffees. Great theater!

I've been going to this theater since I was just a child really and I just have the best memories of going there and for me it's like going back in time when I've been there to see movies that have come out. They always play the really cool indie movies but back in the day, it was the movie theater in town

Great art house theatre. The staff actually makes sure people behave during the movie. They also have a senior day on Wed. $5 to get in, good for an older crowd. I love this theatre.

This is a clean and comfortable place to see a movie. The popcorn was fresh but the soda was a little flat. The restrooms needed a little attention but its obvious that they are inspected regularly.

A great theater, not because of its amenities, which are just ok, but because of the movies shown there. This is the only place in Ventura where you can see low grossing but excellent art house flicks. Go, see great films.

Excellent staff, they show good movies that aren't about chase scenes and stuff blowing up. It's an older theater so you won't have heavily upholstered reclining seats.

Nice low key venue for watching quality movies. Good value, friendly staff and excellent selection of contemporary films. And my wife loves it too.

Good “art house” theatre. I’m glad there are still places showing these edgier independent movies. Place is showing its age. Needs to update seats. Love their popcorn.

I love this theater. It has a great snack bar and real butter for your popcorn. Small town feel, friendly, helpful staff and great selection of films.

This is a great old time theater that shows off beat movies. We go here when we want to see something eclectic and not your average "shooting and explosions" movie.

I really like this theater. It's older but very clean and they have good customer service.

Although this place has not been renovated or remodeled, the seats are actually comfortable enough for one movie, even with my bad back.

Really enjoyed the time we spent together there, nice seats, good views,and a free candy at the end!

Great place for watching underrated indie films at a really low price. 10/10 would come again.
