El Rey Cantina

Food was delicious, guacamole was to die for, atmosphere was hip and the alcohol-bottle chandeliers were so cool! It wasn’t busy at 7:00pm Friday night, but the DJ was arriving at 9:00pm and we didn’t stay for the fun. We will definitely return to this cool find in old Camarillo!

I go to El Rey after work with a co-worker to have a drink and some food. The best part is that it's always a cool environment throughout the whole day even when it gets crazy packed. The owners, the bartenders, the waitresses and the cooks are friendly and welcoming. It's the only spot in Cam that I go to now. Check it out!

Service is very friendly.
Neon lights and alcohol bottle chandeliers are cool.
Food and drinks were adequate.
They used to do karaoke, and if they still do that, major props.

Taco Tuesday. Great prices, great food, fantastic margaritas. The shrimp tacos were so good. Salsa yummy. Service on top of it . Will definitely be back.

Came in on karaoke night and the atmosphere was awesome with friendly, happy people and everyone singing having a wonderful time.

Great atmosphere, beer is ice cold, great food, great location, and the staff is super cool especially Wendy.. Ended up here on a Sunday after the Casa Pacifica Wine Festival and it is happening. They have a DJ and I've never seen it this packed.

Great atmosphere, fast service, friendly waitress and not too many people. The margaritas were awesome! Happy hour is the best time to go, a must is the churro shot yummm!

It's one of my new favorite places to visit in Camarillo they are under new ownership. The food and service are good, but what really makes El Rey special is the drinks and atmosphere. They have a variety of bands and Djs playing every week. Camarillo needed a fun, socially, friendly place like El Rey.

Best Taco Tuesday tacos I've ever had. Spicy, but not too spicy. Great flavor and I tried them all.

Place is an open layout with views overlooking old town Camarillo. With inside and outside seating. Bar area front of TV's.

What a wonderful experience thanks to the associates at El Ray in Camarillo California. Totally Rocken place with the atmosphere to match. A special thanks to the sever Patrick and Jade, for just we'll being Awesome People who care about their customers

Best place I have try so far. The food is amazing, really cozy place, really friendly staff, nice and cold. Definitely worth the traffic from Pomona.

This place is such a sweet spot, the food is amazing. I highly recommend you come eat here. The drinks were great and priced well. I met one of the owners and he was so humble. I’ve come here in the past to dance and it’s lit but you know covid has made me realize how bomb this place is for food.

I love this place! The owner really I knows how to run a bar and grill. There is always an event of sorts. The drinks could use a little work though. They are a little too weak for the price but that still doesn't change it for me. Best mexican food in So Cal by far and their salsa bar is something you've never experienced, the peanut infused one is my favorite. They have a wide variety from mild to blazing hot. They always have the game on and the service there is above and beyond. Miss you all over there!

Went on 5MAY21, service was phenomenal. Had two guys waiting the entire restaurant losing their minds but absolutely killed it given the number of patrons. Cant say anything about the food cause I dont think cinco de mayo is the right time to judge, given the number of people for the cooks haha. Definitely will be back.
