Cancun Seafood & Mexican Grill

Today was my first time eating here and it was delicious. They give you one complimentary basket of yummy homemade chips. I ordered from the daily special which was Salmon with Shrimps on top which came with a cup of soup, steamed veggies, and jasmine rice. The salmon and shrimp were both flavorful with a hint of spice they were complimented with red onions on top. The salmon was tender and a good portion. The employees there were friendly and helpful. Thank you for the good experience.

Good burritos, great service. I ordered a burrito and a few minutes later the cashier walked it out to me. Perfect after a long day of travel.

Garden (vegan) burrito is excellent! Huge, full of perfectly cooked veggies. Carrots, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and guacamole. Best vegetarian burrito around.

We’re not from here and this place was wonderful! We’ve been twice now and very happy both times. The burritos are huge, and so delicious. The lady that works there was so friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean, and we couldn’t have been more pleased.

OMG this little place is a Gem. I had two carnitas tacos. I can’t tell ya how good they were. Lean and so flavorful. I will take quality any day over a full restaurant. A definite yes.

Best customer service ever! Every restaurant out there needs to take lessons from them! Although we were a big party of 8, they were so attentive to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the food. The cook and waitress (I believe they are the owners) deserve 10+ stars. I would love to visit again when in the area. Food was delicious.

I have been eating and ordering here for about 5 to 5 1/2 years since my returned to Oxnard in November 2012. I’m a federal civilian employee on base and only have 30 minutes for lunch. So, I have to try to see if it pass my tastebuds 😂! I love Enchiladas and soups. So, I tried their chicken enchiladas for pick-up. When I arrived 10 minutes later, my food are ready to go. Ate it at work and it passed as I also knew how to cook. The other time, I tried the Albondigas soup, I love the broth but meat balls are small but it’s great overall. One time, I decided to eat again at the Mexican restaurant in corner of Channel Islands. I knew this place since back in 1995-1999 when I was still on active duty. I tried their albondigas soup and noticed that meatballs are larger but it failed my taste on the broth. I preferred Cancun and the owner/cook Gus and wife Oni as they really know how to make foods. They knew me because of my constant orders for pickup. Try it for yourself and compare 😊!

I have been eating here for about 5 years now since I came back to Oxnard in November 2012. I ordered a lot for pick-up since I only have 30 minutes for lunch break and I work on Port Hueneme base as a federal civilian employee. One thing I am certain is how they remember your guest and what you frequently order "by phone" and that how we started to know each others name. Their quality of foods are nothing more and nothing less and same with the price. The food taste better compare to nearby Mexican restaurants I tried before. Most of the time, I ordered the Enchiladas a lot as it is one of my favorite, then the Albondigas and the broth is superb in taste. I highly recommend the cooking of Gus and the courteousness of Oni. Try it for yourself when you get a chance. They will not fail you!

So good! Lady at the front was really friendly, and I'd have to say it's up there with some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. If you want a really good Chimichanga, go here!

Amazing! Do it! Eat here! We went last night for dinner and got the salmon and shrimp plate and enjoyed EVERY bite! Even the rice was super yummy! On a weekend getaway and guess what, we’re eating lunch here before we head home.

This place is delicious! Not you're average Mexican food,but an americanized twist. Everything on the menu its good especially the chicken nachos and breakfast burritos! Really clean environment and the perfect place to go on a sunny Sunday afternoon

Omg i had the best shrimp burrito, it had jasmine rice and cheese and black beans. The lady that works there recommended it. The service was great, there are no complaints here.
