Great Dentist and Great Guy! My family and I have been going to Dr Richards for over 20+ Years . Dr. Ricks’ helped me out in many dental emergencies over the years. I remember waking up with a super painful tooth at 4:30 am , I called him up and was able to get in an have it dealt with by 9:00 am . He really helped me out and I really appreciated it . I've been seeing Dr. Richards for around 10 years. I started seeing him on the recommendation of a good friend. Dr. Richards is knowledgeable and thorough. Since seeing him I've never had a single problem with my teeth. His office is bright, clean, and welcoming. He is friendly and guilt free: no admonishments about flossing! Best of all, he's not at all interested in the up sell. He's very straightforward about what your teeth need and won't try to push you into expensive, but unnecessary, dental work. He's just hands down the best dentist I've ever seen.

I called out of the blue, never seeing Dr. Richards before, with an emergency and being in pain. The Receptionist, listened to my issue and then said that she would see if I could be worked in the same day and would call me back and then quickly worked me into their busy schedule within about two hours from my initial call.

Dr. Richards and staff were very compassionate and understanding of my situation and took care of me as if I was a long-standing patient. During my visit I explained to him that I did not have the best set of teeth and he set my apprehensions at ease with care and thoughtful empathy. I so appreciate their first-class services and treatment never seeing me before. I finally found a dentist that gave me honest information and great services. I will never use another Dentist again.

I have been going to Dr Richards for almost 30 years. He is an excellent dentist. He performs everything by himself, including teeth cleaning, etc. He makes one feel very comfortable while performing dental procedures. He also does not overbook, so when your appointment is scheduled, you can expect to be seen at that time.

Dr Richards is great. He’s very conscientious with COVID, I feel safe seeing him. I appreciate that he sends me to specialists as appropriate. I have gotten great care.
Most recently Dr Richards and his staff went out of their way to encourage my new insurance to cover a crown.
I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more in a dentist.

I don't have enough words to compliment Dr. Richards. He makes even an apprehensive patient have a pleasant time at the dentist and not dread the next visit!

I went for my first dental check-up with Dr. Richards and found him very nice and friendly. I had my x-ray and cleaning done on the same visit. I was so happy to know I am cavity-free after not seeing a dentist for a while because of covid. Dr. Richards was Amazing. I had a cleaning done and X-rays and he was Awesome. My original dentist that I had been going to for the past 22 years has retired and I chose Dr. Richards as my new primary and I hope that he will never retire himself. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist, he will be our new family Dentist.

I have been Dr Richards dental patient for a good 15 years. I appreciate that he is a no-nonsense dentist. He doesn’t dream up work he can do for profit. He has taken excellent care of my teeth. I trust that when he says I need work done that I truly need it. If I need work beyond his scope he gives me names of dentists he personally has used and trusts. I highly recommend him as an excellent dentist.

Dr. Richards offers excellent care. Additionally, I felt totally safe. Appointments are made so there is no one else in the waiting room. All door handles inside and out are covered in plastic and changed after each patient. He has always wears a mask and disinfects the chair after every patient. I highly recommend him.

The most thorough, gentle and awesome dental care you can get in Ventura County. Dr. Richards is the best Dentist I have ever known. I truly cannot recommend his practice enough. Marilyn and the Doc. are an amazing team. Never rushing you in and out. You will feel like his only patient. You will not be disappointed. The real deal.

Great dentist! Nice guy and very professional. I recently had to have a tooth removed in an emergency. It hurt all night and I couldn’t sleep. I called him at 6:30AM thinking that I was just gonna leave a message, but he picked up and was very concerned. I was able to get an 8:15 am appointment that day and the offending tooth was taken care of. Saved me a great deal of pain! I could not recommend him more. He is an excellent dentist! I have been going to Dr. Richards for many years. He is the only dentist I trust. He is honest, and he does everything himself (no hygienist.) I have also referred friends/family who have had bad experiences with other dentists. They are very happy with Dr. Richards.

Dr. Richards has been my dentist for many years because of his down to earth, no surprises method of dispensing care. He usually schedules so that there is only one patient in the office at a time therefore patients don't have to wait in the chair for the dentist to return from the other treatment room which is valuable if you happen to be a person on a schedule.

Our dentist retired and my wife and I feel so lucky to have Dr Rick recommenced to us. We hope this is the start of a long and happy relationship. My wife just had Dr Rick put a composite veneer on a tooth and it came out terrifically. Kudos!!!

Dr. Richards is a very competent, conscientious, personable professional that takes the time to understand the patient's desires and explain how best to achieve them. He and his staff are also knowledgeable on how to coordinate the financial aspects to minimize the patient's outlay in achieving excellent dental outcomes. I have also come to trust his recommendations in terms of reputable specialists who I have seen from time to time.
