On Saturday night the cashier was awesome. We were short a few bucks and he covered us. But he was very sweet and genuine. Good to come across people that still care and I'm very grateful to pay it forward.

I love shopping here. Clean store and helpful staff. Always a pleasant experience.

The store associates in every departments including the Managers are very helpful and have always treated me with respects and always have gone out of their ways to help me find the items I myself could not find. They are professionals in their respective departments. The manager(s) have gone over and above for me whenever I needed help. Please keep up the great work...my respect to all of you.

For just getting into town for a weekend trip at the end of the day it was a lifesaver 1030 at night when most things were closing and we didn't have to resort to fast food. Still clean still stocked. Only one poor guy at the check out, but he was friendly too.

Just stopped in for sandwiches on the way to the redwoods. They had a good selection and you could make your own sandwich if you wanted. Prices were reasonable. Only two checkout lines open, but the line moved fast and we didn't wait more than a couple minutes. Staff was friendly at the checkout.

Okay. Once bitten twice shy, three times I'm stupid. This is the third time I had to throw away the whole pre-cooked chicken from Safeway 's hot deli.
They must be poisoning us with the cooked chicken! The rotisserie rack drains all the flavor leaving only a bad taste of tap water throughout the bird. I just hope the tap water isn't from their toilet, I'm talking about their restroom toilet not the entire store, although a fare comparison could be made. This is an act of passive aggression against every customer that walks into that place, as they view us as potential shop lifters on two legs. They don't know who is and who's not so they take it out on every customer.
DON'T BUY PRE-CHICKEN HERE!

Very clean, well stocked produce area. I don't always shop Safeway...so as a result it's hard to find everything. Yesterday it was top romin noodles today butchers string. Still didn't buy the noodles. Love the employees they are the best. Fresh flowers were a fun gift!

They are helpful and friendly as far as the prices. They are outrageous. Simply greedy on a corporation front. I choose to go to grocery outlet for my major purchases due to the price gouging by Safeway. Especially during hard times. I feel for the employees that have to deal with the back lash from angry costumers.

All the staff are friendly and the store is super clean!!!! Before Covid I worked late hours at my job and if I had to stop to grab something the employees wouldn't hesitate to stand outside and watch me walk to my car if I was feeling uneasy about being alone. Also there meat sales are always great deals!!!

Safeway! The Safeways of today, here, on the southern Oregon and northern California coasts are, surprisingly, after some five decades since I first experienced them in my home state of Texas, where I worked my way through college with them as a "night stocker" over a five year period owing nobody a single dime upon graduation, are pretty much the same great value as they have always been for America! Although now owned by a huge conglomerate, they still represent something that is very good about America! Thank you, Safeway, for continuing to be the constant that you have always been! Can you imagine a student loan of 200,000 USD that the kids of today have accumilated? Maybe, in some ways, we need to return to the sacrifices of yesterday for a happier today? Long live Safeway!

This has been my families grocery store for 30 years. Its a good clean store in a tough little town. The employees are always helpful, if you need something just ask.

Amazing five dollar Friday! The chicken isn't as flavorful as it used to be. 😞

Very clean employees very helpful, it has a full deli and bakery also they have an awesome meat dept. with a butcher. The fruits and vegetables are really displayed great pleasing to the eye and down where us short people can reach them..It also has its own pharmacy.
