Travelodge by Wyndham Crescent City

I was impressed. The room was clean, and remarkably quiet considering that it’s facing Hwy 101. To be honest, I ran the fan to make white noise to drown out the traffic noise, and I grew up next to a busy road. The reason I gave them five stars is for the Keurig. That’s an incredible luxury for a budget hotel. Well done! Regarding the comments about not having hot water… the plumbing in the shower is backwards. You have to run it on the low side to get it hot.

Our room was comfortable, and clean, with microwave, refrigerator, fine a/c and heat. Brittany was friendly, professional and just great checking us in and out!

Just convenient on the road. Easy car park in front of the room. Basic amenities i.e. microwave, coffee machine and pods, iron … Good enough for people on the go.

I really liked our stay here. I like this area of California. I was surprised at how nice the rooms were. It didn't look like much from the outside. But on the inside, it's very nice. The rooms were SUPER clean! They were spacious and had great amenities. The beds were cozy. The hotel is right off the highway and close to everything. We were able to park right in front of our room. Perfect place to rest for a great price!

Great value for location. Booked day-of for $100 and they were able to accommodate 11pm check-in. Room has been rehabbed, ours was very clean and nice. Bed was a double xl and comfortable, and had a sofa. Could hear the sea-lions at the marina at night when opening the bathroom window which was cool. Coffee maker works well.

Only odd thing is the bathtub did not have a faucet, only a shower head.

This was our first time ever renting a motel for vacation! We came up here with our children to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and fathers day! The price was great for 3 nights in the Queen deluxe suit! The managers on site were absolutely amazing!! I couldn't have asked for a better check in experience or better people to have accommodate us! The husband and wife went above and beyond to make sure we had a Great time while staying. The beds were super comfy! The rooms were very spacious. Yes, its in the process of remodeling but that didnt stop the managers from doing what they signed up for! I highly recommend The Travelodge to anyone looking for a great check in and warm welcoming! We will be back next year to stay longer as long as we see the smiling faces of the managers we had the honor of meeting! Thank you management for helping us and giving us our first ever great experience!

Don't let the old motor lodge look of this place fool you. The rooms were clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. Prices were also very reasonable. What made this stay excellent was the very kind and friendly woman who was on shift the evening of January 22. I would highly recommend this little motel. I plan on staying here every time I visit Crescent.

Front desk is helpful and friendly. Its a single level hotel which means less traffic in and out of parking lot as well as quick and easy access to your car. The Beds are comfortable, there is a good size under counter refrigerator, table top microwave and pod coffee maker. I Liked the updated rooms (no carpet), plenty of space for suitcases and ice chest. Basic minimalist rooms make it easy to do a quick sanitize wipe down on touch points. Room was cleaned I just like to be extra safe! Smoke alarm will literally tell you if the battery is low. It will beep then say, "battery is low". It told me all night until I called the office for a quick fix! And no funky oders!

Travelodge by Wyndham is a very neat clean well ran budget-friendly hotel to stay at in Crescent City California the staff here is very outgoing and friendly my room was put together nicely I've stayed here multiple times and so far each time was just like last always great I would recommend staying here if you are in need of a awesome place to stay. This hope and conditioner and shampoo toiletries could be a little bit larger other than that everything was is right. The coffee that's in the room is dark roast coffee and it's delicious. I would recommend making reservations in advance because this hotel is often booked completely full.

Stayed here multiple times now. The most affordable place in town, and the rooms are way better than I expected. Recently renovated. And the management has always been helpful and even worked with me when I needed odd check-in/out times. Very happy with my stays here, and will definitely return

Staff/ management was very friendly and made us feel welcomed and comfortable during our stay. We appreciated the excellent cleanliness of the room. Location was the perfect distance to go to the Redwoods while still being located close enough to town for any essential shopping needs. Would stay again.

Great budget hotel. Manager is super kind and accommodating. Rooms are clean and fresh. A decent sized fridge and microwave made it easy to have mini meals before heading out for the day’s adventures. Minutes away from Jedediah State Park with its giant redwoods. A short walk to a beautiful beach. Decent bike rides right from the room. A sort drive to “must see” places like the lighthouse and a stroll on the super interesting breakwater. Wish we had more time to spend exploring this beautiful spot.
Oh, and the room had a satellite connected TV with tons of channels to wind down at the end of the day.

Don’t let the “by Wyndham” fool you .. this is a no frills roadside MOtel but worth every penny of the $54? dollars paid. $71 after tax. No carpet. Everything worked. Reasonably quiet to outside noise. Staff was direct and efficient. Cable and internet worked fine. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you’re just recuperating from a day at the beach or just bedding down as you pass through and want to save money. Not many hotel/motels better for that price point.

Only gripe is the proximity of the bed to wall unit. The fan blows directly on you all night. Not a big enough problem to lower rating though.

Clean and great looking King Size non smoking room with friendly office/maintenance and housekeeping staff. I originally booked for 1 night but decided I did not want to depart from the Ocean just yet (I live 2hr+ inland and it was my dads memorial date 26Sept) so spent 2 night there. Even though there was no staff on early day shift with the knowledge or ability to take a payment or make arrangements for me to extend my one night stay. I absolutely loved the friendliness of the staff/Management. I am a satisfied customer and I will definitely be staying here again when I need to visit the Coast to hear the Ocean. Breakfast is great as well.

The room we are in has wood floors and nice tiles in the bathroom. The tub has jets ..... the staff is super friendly and asked if we needed an extra bed (which we did) and promptly brought it to us.
We would definitely stay here again.

Brand new facility, rooms were spacious, beds were massive and extremely comfy. Room was very clean with all the extras (fridge, coffee machine, iron etc). Breakfast was the best we've had at a motel and the staff were very friendly. Only downside was the showers took a while to turn hot but otherwise great value for money.

A great value! Not a new motel, but well maintained with upgraded flooring and bathroom hardware. Very clean and comfortable beds. Thermostat controlled HVAC is also a plus. Would stay again.

The best motel I have ever been to! The location is great and the room was very clean. Staff are really friendly too. They gave us many nice travel tips! My favorite part is their breakfast, in which you have hot plain omelette, sausage patties, fresh fruit, waffle, yogurt, pastries and assorted cereals. It even exceeded some three star chained-brand hotels!

Every aspect of this Travelodge is amazing!
Obviously I love that the rooms are super modern and clean, with hardwood floors and contemporary designs, and the air conditioners are awesome....
But what really sets this place apart from other places is their customer service and friendly staff. There might be a lot of places to stay in Crescent City, but I bet no place makes you feel more welcome than this one. I can't imagine choosing to stay anywhere else when I'm in Crescent City. A million stars.

New room, HUGE BED! The manager and her staff are simply awesome! I would definitely stay here again. We had a mess up on our room as my husband's brother booked us through Priceline he forgot about our service dogs. So when we called the hotel, the manager Elizabeth was great in getting is to the room they allow for pets. She even helped us with Priceline so we didnt get double charged. The ocean is right behind you and the beach is just down the road. Highly recommend this place. Great staff and great rooms!
