It has 2 wonderful lakes. Theres even stones to get down to the water. It has a playground and toilet and gazebos and benches to hang out with. The pathwalk is not too wide but it goes to the very side of the lake. So nice.

Something about this place feels very calming instantly. Nice size park. People seem very nice. Lots of dog walking with. baggie stations. Nice playground for the kiddos. Lots of matured trees all over including parking lot for shade. Clear pathways around the lake. Ample parking. Porta-potty. Several benches and gazebo.
Only thing I would caution is water on side of paths could be a risk for little one's running around. Definitely a very nice maintained park. Highly recommend 🐸

This is a beautiful, well maintained park. There are wide sidewalks, grass, trees, open spaces and a small playground area. I see many people using it to jog, ride bikes, walk their distance, give their kids a great day playing outside. The one major thing that upsets me is the refusal of dog owners to pick up the poop! It's plain lazy, disgusting and irresponsible. The Park provides poop bags, what else do you want!?? Not a fan of lazy, self centered people.

Nice little park with small fishing
ponds and a creek running thru and a trailhead that is linked to Denver's trail system. Some local art and a big toy for kids. A river runs thru the edge of the park and there are wild trails that can be walked along it.
Usually not busy, great for walking, bike rides, picnics, etc.

Great walking paths, picnic tables and a playground. Port-a-potties by the playground and plenty of trash cans with dog poop bags. Well maintained park and never an issue with parking. Nice area to teach little ones to ride bikes on a paved path.

I've been taking my kids here for years and years and now my grandkids are coming with me. They are just as excited seeing minnows, tadpoles, and crawdads as my kids were and they love exploring. It's an awesome learning experience for them and a great place to walk.

Since the county redid this park it's a great place to bring the kids and take a walk. Clean and lots to see. Bring your bikes, the park connects to hundreds of miles of trails near lots of lakes, ponds and rivers!

Nice little park in North Denver!!! I hadn’t visited this park in over 5 years. They have done a lot to improve the experience! Pavilions, newly paved running/walking trails, pedestrian bridges, more benches, and many more improvements!

It is a nice little park, but I can't call it twin "lakes" with a straight face. We call it twin pools, or twin ponds, because that's no lake. Pretty little area still, and the playground is fun. Great for a walk, or a game of groundies.

This is one of my favorite places where a huge piece of my heart resides. I spent a summer homeless at this location and it was by far one of the most memorable and indescribable experiences I've had yet.
A very trying time in my life but learning and the city wilderness, or the closest thing to it, was still as magical as an episode in the real thick woods. Unfortunately the local police department (Adams county) was informed by travelors on the light rail, that the trash in the area was "repulsive and an eyesore" , so a corralled bunch of vigilantes decided to taken a movement to get everyone there exsiled. They started with a construction crew removing trees and bushes, naturally grown there but utilized by the homeless for shelter or cover. The park was trimmed to perfection and looks completely unatural now but I am sure the committee is pleased, because we all left or beloved home there. The cops then came through fill force and demanded we pack or belongings and get on with our travels or we would be arrested. We would have never trashed any spot in that park however the means to be sanitary require a roll off dumpster and carts to haul it to it. Every dumpster in the area is locked and every slight advancement made by the homeless is quickly knocked a peg by the local cops. Weather that looked like tickets for loitering or trespassing, or even arrest in false accusations, they had us beat, and the homeless has no chance advancing as a group let alone as individuals. Sad but that's the truth on that. No program any county provides is sufficient enough to help stabilize a person to normalcy. It's all just enough to pick us of the ground and dust is off, despite the broken legs that struggle to move underneath us.
Sorry little tangent but people should know.....
The park is beautiful with places to fish and hangout, parking on both sides, close to a light rail and federal blvd . Bike trail all around asking with dirt paths leading to exclusive areas. Help keep people honest, both sides, and keep this milestone magical!!

Nice little park! Play structure was good and seemed generally clean. Nice walking Path and bridges around the lake. Note: Porta potties, no actual bathrooms.

It's funny how much this place has changed. I grew up a couple blocks away back when this place was just a wooded Creek area. Now 40+ years later it's grassy, paved and awesome.
