This park is close by any is free to visit. There is parking but the parking lot is open too the public so don’t leave valuable’s inside your car! The trails are very muddy from the recent rains so be prepared for that! There are several trails to choose from. You can run on the trails or even bring your dog. This is a moderate hike with some flat areas sand some inclines.

Great hiking area. Fresh wild blackberries, fun old excavator for my kids to play with, beautiful ponds. Mostly shady hike. No noticeable bugs.

Got 6 miles of hiking in here. Be aware you're in a horse friendly park in a horse friendly area.

Beautiful park with a lot of trails to choose from. The park is set up for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Lots of intermittent streams across trails can make it a muddy trip, but then again, was it really a good hike if you don't go home with your boots covered in mud? I liked the name of one trails in particular, "Ear Therapy," which starts/ends in a peaceful field with a pond created by a beaver dam and a stream under a bridge.

Beautiful fall walk in the woods. Great trails, though a few muddy spots.

Great views of the Cascades, Olympics and Mt. Rainier from View Point. The trails are wide and relatively easy. The trail to View Point itself is missing a sign, and it looks like it is going down into a swamp, so it is easy to miss. View Point is actually a small trail circling the hill - explore around or you'll miss some fantastic views!

Little known park with many hikes, less traffic and paved pathways. Only downside is that there is a lot of horse poo on walks

I’d like to tell you about the main trail but I attended with my son’s Boy Scout Troop so they took all of the smaller paths to practice orienteering and to identify different types of plants. It was bright and sunny and it hadn’t rained in over a week. Getting to the main lookout was worth the trip. You can see the Olympics to the west and Mount Rainier to the south. Beautiful scenery and a good workout too!

Somewhat of a sneaky location... thank goodness for Google maps! Beautiful mini-forest with hilly (not too steep) groomed trails. Lots of mushrooms & berry bushes. It's dog friendly but definitely horse country too with a separate parking area for equestrians. The trail parking area is limited, we had to park way down the road and walk to the walking trails. Therefore - if you want the place to yourself, go on a rainy weekday. Even then...(?)

Beautiful, but subdued regional park with plenty of pathways for walking, biking, and horseback riding. The trails are well-marked and immaculately maintained, with maps peppered about. Some of the trails have steady inclines, but nothing technical or overly difficult. It's free to visit, and the gravel parking lot usually has space available! (That might be different on the weekends, but alas.) Lord Hill is definitely worth at least one walk-around. :)

Lord Hill Regional Park is a great place in Snohomish to bike and hike. There are all skill levels covered between the trails. We have been mushroom hunting with lots of luck and tadpole watching at Beaver Lake. It can get muddy so bring hiking shoes and have a blast!

A wide variety of forest and vegetation, multiple trail types for horses and mountain biking, dog friendly multiple entrances to the park for North or South drivers. I trail run here, it's a great challenge.

What a little hidden gem of a park! Who knew this giant wild area was nestled right in Snohomish? With over 4000 acres of park, there is something for everyone. The trails go on forever and intertwine and cross over each other. I'm spacially challenged, so the trail signs weren't enough for me to know where I was, but luckily my husband led us back to the car. You can always download a map from Snohomish Parks and Rec before you go. We went in January and it was quite muddy. Be sure to bring hiking boots to stay dry. We saw lots of old growth forest, lakes, a beaver dam, and the Snohomish river. There are also viewpoints throughout with views of the Cascades. It's dog friendly if you bring your leash, and you might even see some horses on the trail, or possibly some mountain bikers. The parking lot was packed but we didn't feel like the trails were overcrowded, due to the park being so big. Definitely recommend!

This is a great local resource for everyone in the community. It has equestrian trails, bike trails and most of all, a spiderweb network of hiking trails with elevation without a long drive. Great for conditioning workout a longer drive out to the national park and forest.

There is a horses only parking lot as well as hiker only at the main entrance and then shared parking from the south side on tester road. Signage is decent on the trails and will be improved within the next year.

There's a nice variety of single track and wider main paths.

A short drive from Snohomish or Monroe, Lord Hill Park is a fantastic place to hike with your family, friends, and furry companion, or ride the trails on horseback or mountain bike. The lush canopy of firs and deciduous trees keeps you cool on those hot afternoons. There are an assortment of trails to choose from, making every time you visit the park a new experience. The quiet atmosphere and natural beauty make this place on the top on my list to recharge my body and mind.

An excellent, local park for entey level/intermediate hiking and mountain biking. Also has roads and some trails open to horses. I love it, because I can take my kids and we van hike for hours, but never be too far that I cant be at the car in an hour. Pretty lakes and at least one spot that has seasonal views. Open year round.
