Ocean Fish & Chips & Korean BBQ

As I said last time, Fish & Chip here tastes better than most high-end restaurants. Crispy fried sampler's fish & chip was very delicious, and I ordered chicken teriyaki, and this is a great place to feel the sincerity of the food. I'm planning to visit a few more times.

We had fried fish, calamari, chips, spring rolls, spicy ramen, and regular ramen. Everything is made fresh and is too hot to eat immediately.

The fried fish was a generous piece that was crispy and tender; both that and the calamari were perfectly cooked and did not dry out; moist without being soggy. The same applies to the chips and spring rolls. Despite being deep fried, I didn't find that anything was an inappropriate level of oily or greasy.

The ramen was rich but pretty simple. Note that the egg in it is cooked well and not a soft/marinated egg.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We've lived in the area for years and have never heard of it. We were missing out! It's a small mom and pop place that serves the most delicious fish and chips I've ever had. Lightly breaded and comes out hot, crispy, and large pieces. Not sure if their tartar sauce is homemade, but it's so good. They also have my favorite dish in the world, bi bim bop. So well plated and delicious! I can't find the dish anywhere else in town and it brings me back to when I visited Korea. There's other Korean staples on the menu that I intend to try. Everyone there was super nice and the place is clean. Food came out quick. I got the bi bim bop and 1 piece of fish, my friend got the 6 piece with chips. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

I love their fish tacos and I don't even usually like seafood. So far I have never been disappointed. It is definitely a local gem.

It is soooo good! We shared a two piece fish and fries and also got sides of coleslaw, kimchi and fried zucchini. The zucchini was so freaking good, lightly fried and super crispy. Definitely worth the stop

OMG!!!!!!!!!!THESE PEOPLE CAN COOK, DO YOU FEEL ME? OMG I WISH I CAN RATE THIS PLACE 30 STARS. WHERE DO I BEGIN?!?! STEP ONE, THEY MAKE IT FRESH WITH REAL VEGGIES AND MEATS, NO PROCESSED NONSENSE. STEP TWO ITS WORTH EVERY DIME AND SOME, THE FRIED FOODS ARE CRISPY NOT OILY. DEFINITELY THINK THIS PLACE IS MARYSVILLE HIDDEN GEM!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A MUST, RUN DONT WALK. DROOLING JUST THINKING ABOUT THE SALMON TERIYAKI WITH VEGGIES!!

I really like their Korean BBQ one. I also wish when it's time for the place to move I hope it moves to the area near El Rey Mexican restaurant. Cause we need a good restaurant over here too. All we have is pizza and Mexican food. We need a Korean BBQ and fish and chips over here. If they do there's more parking too.

This place is amazing! I had the tteobokki and the chicken teriyaki. My SO had the Bibimbap with beef and the fish and chips we enjoyed all of the food we got, definitely recommend this place.

Place is awesome. Very good service and fast even when it’s busy. Only thing that made it unpleasant is the other customers. There are people who go there but won’t try any of the korean options, which makes no sense to me, but they’ll stare as if they’ve never seen Asians before even though it’s an Asian joint. Kind of annoying when you’re trying to eat and literally the whole room is watching you eat. Maybe just went on a bad night when all those people came out. Will go back for sure.

Found this diamond in the rough and was very skeptical since it is a surf and turf restaurant that can do Korean food and my God were my husband and I blown away. The crab cakes and fish were delicious! The authentic tteokbokki and bibimbab were everything I had imagined. Definitely will be stopping by next time I go thru Marysvills.

The seafood here is delicious but me and the father of my kids come here for the Korean food! So yummy! Highly recommend getting the japchae. It's so good! The stir fried noodle chicken is also great. We also ordered the beef bulgogi but it wasn't all that. The kimchi today wasn't great either and they usually have really good kimchi. We still love coming here and the owners are super friendly.

So fabulous. The food is fresh with large servings. It was very delicious. I was most impressed that the dish I ordered looked exactly like the photo. I've never seen food look identical to the advertising. I had a korean dish with egg, scrumptious mushrooms, yummy rice, and traditional korean sides. My mother had the fish and prawns and chips. The fish pieces were large, there were lots of prawns and it was very good. The fries too were especially good. The food is made fresh. The service was great. I appreciate the care they put into the plants in their decor.

Food was delicious, costumer service was great super friendly. Me and my mom love Korean food and it was great to find somewhere in town that sells Korean food instead of having to drive to Sacramento all the time.

Great fresh hand dipped fish and chips. Hot and yummy. Extra large pieces with fries, 12.99.
Frozen fish at other restaurants, 17.99. Eat here instead! I wish they were located somewhere else and not on busy hwy 70 across from Marysville ball park. But still so worth it.

Best fish 'n' chips in the Yuba-Sutter area. Their fried zucchini is really good, too.

Had the soon du bu and seafood platter. Some of the best food I've ever had in the area. The soup is amazing, kimchi is top tier, fried fish was astounding. Even the tartar sauce tasted made in house. Will be ordering again
