The service was excellent! During my visit, I was approached by staff and asked if everything was ok. If I needed anything? Very friendly. The food. Wow, I had a chile verde burrito. Delicious!! The salsa/ chips perfect. As I was leaving they asked if I wanted a refill for my drink. Just awesome service. Thank you El Rey Mexican Restaurant.

I place an order over the phone for 3 caldos de res they are the best in flavor , this little restaurant is really good in flavor they have a breakfast burrito that is super delicious i usually add extra bacon and prices are ok considering what you get some may think is a bit expensive but trust me you are paying for the closest to mexican aunthentic food .

I drive all the way from South yuba City, to East Marysville for the breakfast burrito at this place. I probably passed 10 Mexican restaurants in the process. Doesn't matter, it's worth it.

This place was wonderful I would definitely recommend my friends and family to go here the portions are super big you definitely can get a full stomach the eating a 1/2 a breed O here but I recommend getting a full one so you can eat the other half later

We only go here when we are lazy and don’t feel like cooking 😂 but this place never fails on taste and authenticity. I use to get a burger and fries from here 😂 and that was amazing too I don’t even know if they have that anymore but now I usually get a breakfast burrito or a super burrito and it’s always AMAZING

It has been at least 20 years since I have been here. It was just as delicious as I remember it being. A Good amount of food for the price!

Honestly priced great food. Friendly and courteous staff. The menu is your standard fare at a Mexican diner in California, and everything is well made and delicious. Between the welcoming environment and the high quality food preparation and service, this is a hands down 10/10.

Staff is always so friendly and kind. To-Go orders must be popular because the entire you're there people are picking up breakfast burritos.

The waitresses at El Rey's are very cordial, and most eager to take your order. Most of the time they even smile at you...lol...
I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito this time. When I took a bite, I could almost picture being in my mama's kitchen! Their chorizo burritos are authentic, and the flavor is great! Have a pickled Jalapeño pepper with it! You talk about delicious! Mmmm, mmm.
All this reminiscing is making me hungry. I gotta go and call EL RAY'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT. OH, they have take-out too.

Always great food..quick friendly service

I go here once a week it has very good food at reasonable prices. I've had alot of the menu yet for price and time the breakfast burritos are hard to beat. Seating is modest as is parking yet when you talk with staff you feel reassured that they know how to properly work and not loose your food like the box chains thru Marysville.

Amazing service as well as amazing food. Carnitas were excellent and the Asada fries were delicious too. You could share a plate between two people, too.

This restaurant in East Marysville, CA serves Mexican cuisine and has a great menu of food that is outstanding. There is ample space for family and single dining and the service , both in house and takeout is outstanding. The employees are very professional and the atmosphere is very pleasing.

In love with this place. Best tasting 🌯🌮🍔 🍤 🍟 ...everything. Never fails, always delicious. Each item we try is amazing. The most tender steak ever, biggest super burritos, best tasting rice and beans, carnitas nachos, ...I could go on and on.
