*Update 3/2024 Three years & many services later, I am still a faithful customer! Tawny's passion for her craft is evident, I can go in & ask for a specific style, or ask her to "change it up" (whether color, highlight, cut etc.)...either way, given her attention to detail I know I will leave the salon a genuinely satisfied customer. I always find the salon staff warm & welcoming, and the salon itself is modern, bright and clean.
Original review: I got a cut/highlights & eyebrow tint & am thrilled with the results! Tawny (the owner) is professional, engaging & very talented, I saw some of the work the other ladies were doing & I would definitely trust my tresses w/them as well. The prices are very, very reasonable & the quality of work is superior. This was my second visit & I will remain a loyal customer.

The hairdressers are friendly, knowledgeable and make sure you get exactly what you want, how you want it. Shoutout to Amber and Tawny, we work in the same complex and see them almost every day, and Amber gave me exactly the haircut I wanted, it was perfect. It may not be for everyone, but it is for me. She even recommended me a texturizing spray that smells nice and works perfectly. I've never been so happy after getting a haircut. Don't be too nervous about the price, it's well worth it.

Tawny has helped me feel beautiful again! She’s been with me every step of the way through a chemo hair loss journey, regrowth of hair I couldn’t recognize or tame!!! Thank you for helping me love my hair again!

I've been here a couple of times now, & booked with Amber each time. So far, I've only gotten trims, but the first one was significant, to eliminate split ends & breakage. Hanging onto length for its own sake won't do you any favors, if that length is damaged.
Amber is super friendly, personable, & did a really great job. Even with just a trim, she cut my hair in a way that gives it nice shape & movement.
I've already booked my next appointment with Amber, & I'm looking forward to it.
Also, she recommended a great heat protectant, & based on the condition of her own hair, I definitely trust her suggestion. They were currently out of stock, but they were nice enough to take down my info & offered to call me when their order comes in, so I don't need to wait for my next appointment to swing by & pick it up.
Overall, I'd recommend Platinum, & I'll happily continue to book regularly with Amber to keep my hair in good shape.

Love love love my blonde hair! This was my first time at this salon with Tawny and I’ll definitely be back. To say I had trust issues with my last “shot in the dark” salon would be an understatement, but the Platinum staff and Tawny put those concerns to rest almost immediately. I received multiple compliments within the first 24 hours and it was all due to the amazing women at Platinum Hair Studio!

Great experience! They listened to what I wanted and gave me great recommendations. Stephanie colored my hair a gorgeous shade and even though I hadn't booked it in advance, Kaylyn was able to give me an amazing cut! I am extremely happy to find a place so close to my house that does such a great job. The staff was fun and the experience was wonderful.

This place is amazing! I have never had my hair dyed and I was very specific in what I wanted. Kaylyn walked me though what certain highlights and colors would look like, fade into, etc. She went through it again through the process to make sure she was doing exactly what I wanted and it was good because we changed a few things along the way. She also styled my hair and basically gave me a lesson on the best products and techniques which was a huge help! Their prices are pretty decent for their quality. Not only are their services awesome but the staff is super friendly and fun. I didn't get a cut but I will definitely be going back for anything I want in the future!

Fantastic service. The stylists are attentive, helpful with indecision, and very friendly. Definitely is a place to go if you want to get your hair colored or highlighted. I have tried cheaper places in the past for highlights and this place is worth the cost. They blended light and dark tones with my predyed hair perfectly!

I've spent years looking for a salon after my favorite stylist moved out of state. Well, today I met Tawny at Platinum Studio in Thornton and my search is over. She transformed 14 months of covid DIY haircuts, plus some medication-related hair issues, into the best haircut EVER! She's truly talented. I went in a little apprehensive and definitely a bit depressed and left laughing and extraordinarily pleased. Platinum Hair Studio is a hidden gem.

Very nice shop. Amber gave a lot of attention to detail cutting my hair into a long bob with layers and texture. My hair is half curly and half straight. It turned out great. I'm excited to let her do some color next time.

Quality salon all the way around, I'd give them 100 stars. The owner is very professional an has a good vibe going with the stylists, love her awesome boots. Veronica was my stylist an she just started there and I will be going back because I am completely satisfied, happy.

It’s is worth the money to get your hair done here. I’ve done cheap, I’ve done Groupon but I have never been as satisfied with a cut and color as I have here at Platinum. My hair is long and thick and requires a lot of arm strength lol. Tawny is a pro and made it perfect! Hair cut was fabulous with all the right layers and weight off. My hair was shiny and soft after my color and their products smell fantastic.

I hadn't had my hair cut since before covid. On February 5th 2021 I called and got an appointment that day with Amber. I have never been here and I always get nervous of someone new cutting my hair. I wanted a-line cut and not mant ppl can do these. I showed Amber 2 pictures and away she went. She was super friendly, professional and make great conversation. She added layers to where I wanted them. When I left I left super happy and very excited that I found a new salon. I will definitely be back to have Amber cut my hair. Thanks again.
