I deal with the CHP almost everyday with different responses, flooding, tree down, road closure. The dispatcher crew is always helpful, respectful and even funny at times. In this type of business where it can go 0% (regular rounds) to 100% mud slide closing road in a matter of seconds it is nice to have them there for you.

This may sound odd but I got a ticket from officer Ayala today. He was very pleasant and I deserved the ticket. I think we don't appreciate the CHP enough for taking care of us on the highways and I wanted to say thank you for looking out for us!

I was pulled over on the 126, for going a little fast, and the officer was very professional and courteous. Luckily he gave me a warning. It made me realize how underappreciated the CHP officers are and how dangerous to be by yourself and pulling people over. The respect for law enforcement is undeserving low and I give you my praise for a most challenging job and how well you all deal with it.

Officer Hayward with your commercial division is definitely top notch. Truck had a flat at the top of the Conejo Grade and was there so fast it caught me off guard. Went above and beyond to insure my safety till the tire was changed. Thank You and stay safe Officer Hayward.

CHP rocks! Around 9pm last night, I gotta tire blowout on 101 South, a few miles past Carpinteria...scary (especially in the dark night). Lots of road construction, moving arrow trucks, blocking lanes, diverting traffic, cars attempting to navigate the roadway. Luckily, I was able to drive a few miles until I spotted a Call Box by the beach (Ventura County). I spoke to a female operator who attempted to alleviate my fear, said she would alert the CHP and someone would come. On the shoulder of the road, I waited in my car, nervously biting my nails as my two little dogs sat staring at me from the backseat. Then, like the cavalry coming to save the save the day, the lights of the CHP car pulled up behind my car. The CHP Officer said it would be quicker to change my tire than have me wait for a tow truck and probably safer (I thought) as the cars zipped by. He was certainly a caring human, and I thank him for his kindness!!!!! This is not first time the CHP has helped. I appreciate them!

Much praise and respect for the men and women of the CHP. Helpful, professional and willing to put their lives on the line for the community and enforcing safety on our roads. Thanks for all you do!

Got here on my only off day from the base. Even though they were not scheduled to do vin verification the officers there took the time to help me and cleared up all of my administrative issues. Very helpful and nice.

This officers are the nicest I’ve encountered on the highway. I’m not sure if it’s the ocean views or the fresh ocean breeze but hey one big thumbs up for them 👍

First an officer passes me doing at least 60 in a 35 going downhill into Casitas springs on the 33 (with no lights on, illegal for them to do) and then right where the freeway begins there was wood debris covering both lanes making me use the shoulder to get around. Why was this officer not stopped with his lights on to warn people of dangerous road conditions? What good is the highway patrol if they arent patrolling the highway? This is the second time this has happened in the past few months and both times I try to call the CHP but their office is closed. Strangely enough there are officers waiting on the roads to hand out tickets 24/7 but nothing when they're actually needed

Officer parsons was very rude, uneducated on the Stop and was very far away from his normal route in a residential area hiding. He acted like he knew how modern insurances are, car modifications such as smog and CA complaint exhausts. He was incorrect and still cited me for things I am getting thrown out. Hope to see you in court buddy. Very unprofessional.

Imagine being a tax collector for the State, but dressing up as a police officer daily.

Everyday is Halloween for the CA Highway Patrol!

Having a good day? Don't worry, they'll fix that with their speed traps and intimidation tactics.
