Ventura College

One of the best community colleges around. Definitely a great place to start or continue your academic career journey. Very beautiful campus, super large too. Nice buildings all over, tons of places to sit and work or take a break inside and outside. Definitely recommend everyone to check this college out in person. They also have a swap meet here in the parking lot on the weekends. Also worth checking out if in the area. Good deals and some good food. One of the many great places and things about Ventura California.

This is a nice school and it has definitely improved since I was last there!
The staff are friendly and helpful and there are some amazing math and science professor here!
I am glad to have gotten my credits from here and appreciate what the school has done to help me transfer out of here. One thing that does suck is the parking, but parking isn't too bad to find on the west parking lot.

Swapmeet is pretty good. They have good food vendors. Try the cemitas they are delicious. I like that the food trucks are under shady trees now.

I went here for covid test. The TESTING site was very organized. Cars move quickly, and lanes are clearly marked. Go to the WEST lot so you don't drive around aimlessly.

This is a top-ranked community college for many reasons. The campus is beautiful and only getting better. The professors are passionate and inspiring. They’re the right place to guide Ventura’s young adults and folks of any age into the professional workspace.

Easy to navigate if you are a first time or a returning student. Great online and in-person resources available. Take advantage of all the perks of being a student had to offer such as the Career Center, Lending Library, and Student Union. For some it is a first step, for others it is a new chapter. Chart your course, you future Pirate.

Warning Old Guy going back to school and getting in everybody's way! So far I am very happy with it here. Lots of help getting me set up. I am amused at the comments mentioning cuisine choices and "real world" teaching. Seems like just the place for me. Darn Skippy.
Another day - I just went to the bookstore. Very helpful and informative. 😉

Went to the Swat met and walked around it was safe 💯💯 and very clean 😷😷😷vendors had hand sanitizer and clean stands so that helps me feel like everyone is trying to do there parts so that we move may move forward.

I came to the free drive up testing for Covid on campus. Very quick and easy process. Waited 30min tops in line. Make sure to arrive early around 10am. The people doing the testing were super sweet and coach you on how far the swab should go up your nose. Pain free and simple. Dont think they are part of ventura college, but I enjoyed my experience.

best damn science education in county! They give kids access and kept valuable supplies while integrating technology! They should tenure more math and science teachers and maintain access to sciences to working class kids and adults! Too bad they don't also hire more janitors, grounds people and counselors as well! But they need to provide students with the information that allows students to access universities globally. Come on Ventura College! Either you are raising students to complete globally or you aren't! Which is is going to be? Are you the pirates or aren't you?

Anthony of the Ventura College Book store was such a huge help, electing to grab the stuffs I needed. A 95 year old college is by means solid and able to deliver on all fronts .

With the virus, the college at 6:30 AM is nearly empty. It's a great place to walk my dog with cement walkways & plenty of lighting.

Ventura swap meet great place to walk around and have a delicious churro, ice cream, tostilocos ,burger. Mexican food.

I enrolled today, in process with registration, etc. Super supportive VRS staff, looking forward to continuing my studies, cool to be back in college, go Pirates
