Best Western Shadow Inn

For an older hotel this place was very nice. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The grounds were immaculate with BBQ grills available for use!

Great hotel first off!!! Bobby on night shift got me checked in super fast and friendly service with a smile. Also clean rooms 😊 Will make sure I stay here again as I travel a lot thru area ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ STARS

This was the best experience that my family has had in any hotel! Everything was great!! The room was beautiful had a microwave, fridge and a pull out for our little one. Everything was clean the bed was very comfortable and so we're the pillows! The only complaint I have is 2 things. 1. My bath tub was so full of hair that it wouldn't drain so I couldn't take a shower after a long drive which sucked. 2. In the morning while getting breakfast a transient came in and instead of giving woman grace the man and woman made a huge deal about it screams " You can't be in here!!" I personally wouldn't have even noticed anything was going on if it weren't for the employees Making a big deal out of her presence. I understand you are a business and have to make money I get it but there's a way of doing thing's and that was not it!! Anyway everything else was great and so was the breakfast but who can eat knowing there is someone starving outside?

Nice and quiet has barbecues outside, so you can cook your own food has a little rest area outside as well. We could sit and chill with the fire pit. This place was awesome.

I can't say enough great things about the rooms and especially the staff at BW Shadow Inn! My flight to Pensacola from Sacramento International Airport was scheduled to depart at 0530 so I drove down the night before and stayed at the Best Western in Woodland. My flight ended up being delayed over two hours which meant that I was going to miss my connecting flight in Houston. My new flight left at 1159pm so I would have had to spend the day and evening at the airport waiting for hours with nothing to do. The staff at BW Shadow Inn were amazingly helpful and arranged for me to spend the day in my hotel room and if that wasn't awesome enough, they let me park my car in their lot for a tiny fee and then helped me arrange for an Uber to take me to the airport since I have a hard time driving at night. I highly recommend staying at Best Western Shadow Inn in Woodland California!!

We've stayed here twice now...we were in room #156 this time. It's been recently remodeled and is lovely!

My wife & I stayed her for the weekend during Aftershock Festival. Our experience was good. The front desk staff were friendly. Our room was clean & comfortable. The queen bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed. The property was kept clean & was quiet at night. There was a nice outdoor swimming pool & multiple propane barbecues available for guests to use. The breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast with all of the options. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

I travel as much as 10 months a year and this motel has one of the best outdoor areas I have seen. 3 propane bar-b-ques and a nice pool area. The facility was nicely maintained and the rooms were clean.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms were extra large and they had a sofa and coffee machine. Also it had a good swimming pool and even a barbecue area with grills for you to help yourself. Even though the breakfast area was small, it was well stocked in the food was tasty. The pancake machine was a lot of fun.

We only stayed one night, but if I would have stayed longer if I could. The beds were super comfortable--I imagine they're equivalent to sleeping on a cloud. The room we had was very nicely kept. The service at the front desk was amazing, so nice and very helpful. I can't think of one bad thing to say. You guys were amazing, thank you for your hard work during these trying times of the pandemic.

The look and style of the motel reminds you of a cute roadside inn from the movies. The rooms are large and very clean despite the building being older. The towels and bedding were all bright white and freshly laundered. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when both checking in and out. Great value for the price.

I would give this hotel a 4.5 star, but that isn't possible. The bed was very comfortable, but a little small. The restroom was clean; but again, very small. There were no plug ins by the bed for charging cell phones or plugging in laptops. BUT...the service was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

I give the place a five star, but the rating does not go to the woman that works Friday afternoons. We literally had to wait in line for 20 minutes as we watched her be completely be rude to three guest prior to our check-in process. She should be a little bit more grateful that she employed. BUT.....Michelle and Patty they are superb at hospitality and customer service as well just really being nice. There's a little that goes one bad apple doesn't spoil a bunch

Very clean hotel. Everything was tidy I would recommend to others as well as stay here again. Not sure if all rooms are the same but it was a larger than normal room with a very small kitchenette area. Made it easy for us to make our own meals and not have to eat out.

Not only is this hotel comfortable, enjoyable and friendly but the staff go above and beyond.
We had a lovely stay, then got taken to Sacramento airport buy the hotel's shuttle
the next day. We were returning four days later.
Our 7 year old daughter left her teddy (Ducky) in the hotel room. She was distraught.
A staff member got back to us the same day to let us know they had her teddy. And kept it safe until we returned.
Thank you so so much.
She was so happy when the staff member brought 'Ducky' to her. 😊

Convenient, clean and friendly. Great place to stay after a 14 hour day in the car. You were just what we needed. Free coffee in the morning was a great perk. Will definitely stay here again.
