Ventura County Child Support

They have always been helpful and polite been dealing with them for almost 7 years. The security guard is probably one of the nicest friendliest people I've ever met always enjoyed sharing stories with him while I wait to be helped

I have never been met with anything but kindness from these folks. The gentleman that called me spent extra time making sure I had no other questions. I'm grateful for this program.

Tyler is extremely helpful and informative and responsive. Situation isn't ideal when you're dealing with a parent who is can't support themselves, money hungry, and has entitlement mentality issues but he guided me through. Best way is to work it out between parents because if you really think of it no one benefits from the multi-billion dollar family law "business" but the County/State lawyers and judges who get paid.

I've only called in so I can't speak for the actual center. My phone calls take a little bit to be answered and when they do answer it sounds like they're talking to me from across the room. Once we get past all that, I've never had a bad experience. I once got "the tone" people refer to, but it quickly went away once I addressed it. All my questions have been answered to satisfaction and everyone has always been polite, even tone woman. Being the non-custodial parent that is paying each month, I appreciate their help and kindness.

Today I had a conversation with Karen G., she was amazing. She listened and answered all my questions. I have extremely bad anxiety when it comes to the case in California. From the minute she said hello she made me feel calm and safe. It was the best experience I could have asked for. If you are having doubts or fears about calling, I hope that you have the same experience.

These ladies are just doing their job , we as parents won't have any hard time if we just make our payments on time , it's not their fault or exs are making us pay child support , their just finding a way to make sure the kids get food and clothes , I use to not like dealing with this company , but ever since I made all my payments in time , my relationship with them got better , and I realize it's not their fault , it's my responsibility to keep up with my payments .

Next to impossible to reach my case worker. I get a call from an unknown number when I am working and when I call back, they dont call me till the next day. I missed that call, called them back immediately, again have to wait another day. Still havent talked to them. I work from home, even I have time throughout the day to make a second call. Frustrating.

Update. I finally reached my caseworker and she did help me with my open issues. My review is 3 stars due to how the government operates. Not so much my caseworkers fault or ventura specifically. California is too large for some of these government services, between child support and the dmv idk which is worse lol.

This is a third-party agency of the County of Ventura. The Malicious commissioners and representatives have been illegally garnishing payroll payments, suspending DMV Drivers license without notices and tax refunds offsets. My Childsupport initial since year 2007. Having 💯 joint and
physical custody, my children and I resided in the different counties, The county of ventura local Childsupport lacked jurisdiction, and the commissioners falsely filed a defult judgment, not verifying due process.

I’m not entirely sure what this agency does, but based on personal experience, I can share some things they don’t appear to do. They don’t: Collect child support from deadbeats, answer questions, hire literate employees, help children or families, contribute positively to the community in any way. There are a lot of government agencies, particularly in Ventura county, that do a great job. This one however, just appears to make everything they touch worse. As far as I can tell, this agency has no real oversight or accountability. I hope this changes because they are causing a lot of families to needlessly suffer as a direct result of them not doing their one and only job.

Talked to a ghetto customer service representative on the phone. She was rude and clearly didn't care about the job. This office is useless, shut it down.

Does anyone know how to file a complaint against this office? They are completely incompetent.
I'd like to know who is in charge?
