Trumpet Hill Sport Horses

I highly recommend Trumpet Hill Sport Horses for anyone interested in purchasing a horse or needing horse or human training!!! From start to finish it was (relatively) stress free, enjoyable and drama free! Jessica helped me find an actual unicorn…which is pretty funny bc she specifically told me she can’t guarantee finding her clients a “unicorn.”

Unlike any trainer I’ve worked with before, she encouraged me to slow down, take my time and not rush into anything. As someone who is incredibly impulsive…that was so important for me and she recognized that right away. She listened to and addressed all the millions of questions and concerns I had throughout the process. She patiently waited for me to decide whether or not the horses we tried would be “the one.” EVEN when it took weeks for me to decide. She also did an excellent job assertively and professionally handling some frustrating situations we encountered along the way.

Jessica has the education and experience to back up her expertise about horses, riders and the equine industry. I learned so much (and continue to learn) throughout the process and this isn’t even my first horse purchase!

Before working with Trumpet Hill Sport Horses I was provided a list of all the fees for services they offer. Nothing was a surprise and her fees are completely reasonable.

It has been a wonderful journey finding my unicorn with Jessica.

Omg this place is AMAZING! I sent my horse to a trainer to get him ready to sell. She seemed honest and legit. I was moving so hadn’t been checking on him frequently and after 30 days I came to see his progress and he had lost a significant amount of weight, was dehydrated, and super scared/nervous and not himself at all. He was a completely different horse and I had no idea what to do. It was so devastating. I heard from a friend of a friend about Trumpet Hill and after talking to Jessica, I sent him to her. She took such good care of him and sent updates. He came back to the horse he was before I sent him to the first trainer. He now has a new eventing home and is happy and safe. Can’t recommend Trumpet Hill enough <3

Jessica is an amazing trainer! She took my OTTB and trained her to do a western jog. A very difficult task for my spicy red headed mare. She also taught me to be a much better rider and how to ride through my mare’s little tantrums. Above all this, she became a great friend over the course of the 2 years she worked with us. I highly recommend her!

Jessica Roller is one of the most knowledgeable, hard working, intelligent and talented individuals I have encountered in the horse industry. I highly recommend her for any of your equestrian needs. She will go above and beyond for her clients, with unmatchable expertise. 10 stars.

Jessica never disclosed multiple costs that she charged me. I was constantly told I was not capable of taking care of my own horse because she was the “professional” and I was the “amateur” all because she wanted a payday.I was told I would be keeping my horse at a boarding facility with help if I needed it. Meanwhile the owner of the facility was told I was a training client. She is very controlling and extremely contradicting telling me which bits I was “allowed”to ride my horse in when I was NOT in training with her in any way. I have ridden with multiple top Grand Prix riders and have NEVER been treated like this in my life or met anyone like her. She constantly put me down for my riding as well as my horse knowledge. She is by no means a professional and do not let her so called “knowledge” fool you. I had given my 30 days and then left early when I feared the safety of my own horse, after I had a long conversation with the owner of the property involving my concerns with my horses well being in which she had been told lies about me. I never signed a training contract with Jessica therefore owed her nothing. It’s very easy to be taken advantage of in the horse world and I can only hope this review helps others :)
