Ventura Parasail

What a great experience. Went with my 11yr old daughter. So exciting!! Captain and Mate were 1st class all the way. My wife and 4yr old daughter rode along and took pics and video. Crew was happy to help take photos of the whole family. Not sure how long we were up, but it sure felt like 20min or better. 1000’ of line and somewhere between 500’ and 750’ of altitude. It was a blast and the captain was very helpful in eliminating any fears we had. Highly recommend this company for a once in a lifetime experience. They offer parasailing in Ventura and Oxnard just call before going so you know what location to go to and set up an appt. Enjoy your ride- we sure did

Be aware! Dont go. This place does not exist! They have been closed down for years when we went there this nov 2022.

Went to santa barbara parasailing first on our way to San diego, but they did not let us parasailing that day due to the winds, which was not the problem. The problem was the girl at the booth, who told us to "go to their other branch in ventura," which we went to, but since they close at 5 pm, and we couldn't make it on time, so we got a room in ventura so we could go parasailing in the ventura branch the next day.

The next day, we went to the ventura parasailing branch that the girl had told us about at santa barbara, and google Maps brought us to a place that did not have any parasailing what so ever. We asked around all the other shops in that place, and they said that there used to be a parasailing place there, but it had been years since it closed down. We searched both the internet and Google maps for any type of parasailing near us, but Google kept bringing us back to that same spot where no such thing existed.

My simple request to sports places like parasailing is that you can keep your Google Maps info up to date? Tourists relay on the internet and Google maps heavily to get to places, and if Google maps keeps showing places to be existing and open when are actually not, than that is time and gas waisted that will have the Tourists furious.
