Great place! One of the best;)
Well-kept and kid-friendly!!!

What a beautiful park! There are big grass fields, poles for volleyball, a disc golf course, huge playgrounds for toddlers and older children (complete with slides, swings, climbing walls, monkey bars and more), sheltered picnic tables, and even a roller hockey court! I can't believe I never noticed this park on the back side of Whitehead elementary. What an absolute gem.

There is unfortunately some vulgar graffiti on the play structures and some of the tables. Also, street parking was the only option I saw. For a handicapped accessible parking space you may look at the school parking lot nearby if school is out.

Went here two days in a row because our 5 year old loved it so much! Lots of room and structures to play on, a small splash area for hot days, and a small free library box where we found a cute book. Plan to come here again for sure!

😊The most amazing playground I've ever seen! We Found it by accident, and I'm so glad we did. Huge 1 of a kind play structure made to look like a castle 🏰, complete with towers, draw bridges, and moats. Perfect for a prince🤴 or princess👸I want one in my backyard🏡.

We love this park! Kids always have fun it’s clean and they take good care of landscape

Great park went when i was a kidd bring my niece and nephew to it now.

My boys first time here and they loved the maze! It was difficult to keep up with them to take pictures

Great playground and disk golf course. We all enjoyed a round of golf and then let the kids play for a while.

Disc golf course is nice grass is nice park is nice.

What a great wood park! In great condition, has lots of musical instruments and interesting activities on the playground. Toddler area and big kid area, highly recommend. Brought ages 2-9yrs and they all loved it.

Great place to go have a family fun day

Very well kept park alot of shade and space for soccer games get togethers and the park the kids absolutely love!

Stopped here on a road trip from WA to CA and it was an awesome spot to let the kids recharge.

There is a lot of grass areas in the shade for picnics or just to relax. Open grass areas for the kids to run around or play. Disc Golf course, Hand Ball court, Horse Shoe pits, Volleyball poles, Water play (Summer time only), 2 covered picnic/party areas with bbq pits, 3 other picnic areas with bbq pits.

Ferns is a great park/disc golf course my fellow humans
My advice is to encourage your to children to play with others
Relax they wont explode if they get dirty. Dirt is good
Stop and smell something
Look up at the sky
Respect and take care of this place we have to go to
Enjoy yourselves

Ferns' location may be questionable for some, but it is truly a serene and peaceful park. Kids are always playing in the clean (as of 2018) play area. People walk their pets through nice pathways and you will always find some friends enjoying a relaxing afternoon. Be sure to check this out if you are looking for a perfect park.
