Centennial Trail Barker Rd Trailhead

Very relaxing place to just sit and take in the view of the river. Not many cities have a river running through them like spokane does. So i hope anyone reading this just takes a few moments to just admire the scenery and drown out the craziness of 2020.

Plenty of parking to hop on the river's paved path...but rain cut us short today. Go under the bridge for a brief rain but it wasn't short rain today!

This is a great place to begin a hike on the trail. There's also areas you can use as a swim hole and get some good swimming in for the day. This is a beautiful area. You do need to be cautious of transient folks now but it's pretty much everywhere.

Beautiful scenery going either direction on the trail from here. Great launch point for floating or kayaking the Spokane River, cross the bridge to the north side. Fast flow and some rapids May into July, use appropriate gear.

Perfect walking park start to finish. Any portion that you do is a riverwalk to enjoy!

I live very close and enjoy the benefit of access to the river and the trail.

As you head West to beautiful Trail area the trees create a beautiful canopy over the trail beautiful walk along the river

Decent parking area and a good starting point for a flat bike ride or run.

Doggies needed a quick swim. Great little spot for a quick dip and back
