West Plains Dental

I was recommended this office by a friend and I'm so happy that I went. I have two kids with major immune system challenges and the backroom staff masked for me without complaint. All of the rooms are individual, so no one else's gunk is floating around in your room's air. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and clean.

I also think it's notable that in December I visited a different office for emergency pain in my teeth. They quoted me about $1700+ as an in-network provider, for supposed cavities, and couldn't explain the pain. The dentist had a cold demeanor. The quote felt extremely high, as I have pretty okay dental hygiene, and I did not return back.

A few months later a lump appeared in my gums where the pain used to be and a friend recommended I come here. The dentist and hygienist were amazing, warm, clean, thoughtful people. After a full set of X-rays, and an explanation of what is actually going on with the lump (I'm getting old apparently and it's a normal new lump), I was quoted $80 for two small cavities. Getting them filled was so easy and fast and I got to watch TV the whole time. I also had a cleaning and it was the most thorough I've probably ever had. My teeth look and feel so good.

This office is the best one I've been to!!! Their staff is amazing!! All of them are beautiful and caring. I had the pleasure of having Betsy today, she was knowledgeable and explained well. And Dr Rudy is gentle, kind and thorough. I would highly recommend!

Highly recommend! I have been going to West Plains for regular cleanings and then after some trauma to my jaw and a few of my teeth, they have been SO helpful navigating insurance and my treatment plan moving forward. Emily is an angel and goes above and beyond! Everyone is so friendly and the facilities are beautiful and clean as well.

Been receiving oral care from Dr. Rudy for about 15 years. He has & his staff have been consistently competent in all ways, from greeting to setting up appts & everything in between. He recently provided replacement front teeth when I fell & broke them off. My husband has dementia. The staff help with keeping him comfortable while I am getting care. They are so kind & friendly...the Best!

I sincerely had the best visit to the dentist in my 67yrs. As a Summa Cum Laude WSU graduate, M. Ed, retired after 35 successful yrs teaching, I was treated with respect, compassion, professionalism, knowledge. This isn’t always the case. At times, when sharing concerns (business and medical situations) I’ve been met with a condescending and dismissive tone. Dr. McKennon has all good qualities above. Plus, I believe I received exceptional care from the best dental hygienist ever. Staci made me so comfortable and respected. She took extra time to
discuss my concerns, recommend products and supplied me with samples of product to help my specific dental situation. And I think so highly of office administrator, Emily. She, too, is amazing.

The team at West Plains Dental are top tier. I appreciate the fact that this is the first dental office I don't walk away feeling like someone took a chainsaw to my teeth. Betsy, my hygienist, does a great job - I appreciate her guidance and gentle nudging for me to floss more :)

Still 5 stars, had two crowns and a filling done at this point. A cleaning too and from beginning to end this is the best and most welcoming dental office I have ever been to.

Love coming here and I appreciate that the dentist is honest and won't tell you about unneeded dental work just to upsale.

Wonderful staff, excellent service and amazing atmosphere at this dental office. They listen to you, address any concerns you might have and answer your questions honestly. I love coming here, even though I am not too fond of dentists.

I’m not a person that really gives reviews. What I can say is that every time I come to West Plains Dental the staff is absolutely amazing. It’s refreshing to have a trusted place that will give you honest opinions and quality work. Every problem that I have had on my end they have been very accommodating and worked with me. The bedside manner of everyone that I had the opportunity to meet with has been exceedingly good. I feel like they really pride themselves in getting to know you and making sure they can take care of you in every way possible. Thank you for all the great service.
