Platte River Roofing

Platte River Roofing replaced our old 3-tab roof with architectural shingles in February 2024 and are more than happy with the results. John Kennedy was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the new roof met every one of our specifications. He was very detail-oriented, professional and provided us a very clear and easy-to-read quote and timeline. His crew was kind and professional and did a thorough clean up job at the end. The turnaround was exactly what he’d relayed to us during planning and the new roof was up in one day. John was patient and provided us with just what we needed to get our insurance claim fully approved. We love the new roof and cannot recommend John and Platte River Roofing enough!

UPDATE November 2023: we had another roof installed by Platte River Roofing this year on our new house after extensive hail damage occurred in April and May. It was hectic and full of delays, but John was communicative and understanding of our frustrations. He was frustrated as well, since the last and longest delay was caused by shingle supply chain issues. The job finally completed the final weekend of September and the work quality was excellent as expected. The crew was fast and did a great job cleaning up. John and Michelle were very accommodating and understanding for the next 2 months while I fought with unresponsive and unhelpful insurance to get paid out for the overages that occurred.

All in all, the experience went as well as it could have given all the external frustrations. I truly appreciate John, Michelle, and their excellent crew for all they did.

About 2 weeks before we were set to close on the sale of our house, we were informed the roof had to be replaced or no one would insure the house. In a panic, we found Platte River Roofing and called. John met me about 90 minutes later at the house for an inspection and it took only a few seconds up there for him to know the entire roof had to be replaced.

John was able to get us in the following week and not only were they fast, but the quality of work was fantastic, with the final product looking incredibly sharp.

Everyone we spoke and worked with was friendly, polite, and professional. I can't thank John enough for helping us out at the last minute and ensuring we could move forward with our sale. I will absolutely use Platte River Roofing again on the new house when the need arises.

My reroofing experience with John, and the crew who worked on my house, was seamless and as close to perfect as a job like this can be from start to finish. My experience with Platte River Roofing was phenomenal, and John Kennedy, Project Manager, was professional, warm, and knowledgeable. There is no one nicer to talk to then John, he made light work of the dreary chore I had associated with home repair.

I am a Realtor and have used Platte River Roofing twice this past year for roof replacement as part of contract agreements. It was a pleasure to work with Platte River Roofing and John Kennedy. They were our first call, were prompt to come out and efficient in their quote. This was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Scott was very thorough in evaluating my existing roof, using a drone to survey the condition of existing tiles to avoid further damage. The estimates were fair with several options offered and thoroughly explained and there was no "hard sell". They were very accommodating about scheduling the job and the crew was prompt, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly. Payment wasn't expected until the job was completed. Everyone worked hard and was incredibly pleasant. I wish I had found them sooner. Honest. Reliable. Fair price. Great work.

I was very impressed with this company after a big hail storm hit our area. Our solar company recommended them and I'm so glad they did. We had many people calling and stopping by to try and get our business but we went ahead and took our solar companies recommendation. Platte River Roofing was very easy to work with. They were very prompt and made sure they were at my house when my insurance adjuster was here to evaluate the damage. The roof was finished in one day, and the gutters the next. I really liked Matt the owner he is a very honest and reliable person. We own a rental house down the way that got hit by the same storm and they will be the ones replacing that roof as well!!

Needed not only new composite shingles but also a new deck to meet code for our 1905 Denver Square. John was very prompt and detailed in assessing the job, the bid was very competitive presenting good material options and warranties over a price range. John’s crew very respectful and efficient, completing the job in 2 days. Many compliments from neighbors on both the work and the finished look. I highly recommend Platte River for both honest and high craftsmanship with an aim to make it right.

Platte River Roofing is an amazing roofing company. I have used them for my personal residence as well as several family members and friends. They are high quality, competitive and extremely fast. Their customer service is fantastic and always responsive to calls and emails.

Working with Platte was really great. Our insurance was a bit of another story but Matt and Ashley did everything they could to keep the process moving and finish in a timely manner. They came out immediately after I contacted them about our hail damage and even tarped our skylights that were leaking due to the hail. They were always easy to get in touch with and prompt with any replies (during one of the biggest storm recoveries we've probably had in Colorado). Their subcontractors all did amazing work too and we've referred them out to friends, who've also been very satisfied. It's really nice to work with a real, local company who knows what they're doing.

John was a pleasure to deal with. Very prompt from responding to my initial email, coming out to see the repair and providing a bid and then scheduling the work. Platte River has my full endorsement. They were able to rearrange roof replacement a couple of times and they actually were able to find a crew to do it in 2 days when we found out buyers lender wouldnt not do escrow for new roof prior to closing. Platte River were able to do it so quickly that we closed when we were supposed to. They are straight shooters and the type of guys you would want to have a beer with. If you need a roof, use them. I cant recommend them enough, they were recommended by buyers agent and I was hesitant but so glad I went with them.

Matt and his team at Platte River Roofing ar fantastic! He helped us replace our roof for the sale of our house. He is professional, courteous and a huge help in the process.
