This is my other half's favorite park as it was his local observatory as well. So on our trip back to CO I wanted to make sure I could see this place he enjoys so dearly. After visiting I can see why it holds a special place in his heart. It's very peaceful and quaint all not too far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Like a brief escape from the monotony of life. I would love to go back some time when the observatory is open and experience that as well.

The playground across Warren is lovely! What an amazing find! Came for an event at the observatory and parked right next to this playground.

This park is spacious, beautiful trees 🌲, lots cozy places to relax, many bench areas, or for a nice walk. It is kinda hidden off of Evans but is well worth a visit. 🙂

A beautiful park, especially in the fall, situated in an old, quiet neighborhood with big houses that surround the park. The playground here is nice, the observatory is worth a visit, especially when you can view the full moon through their telescope, and the fields are always well-maintained.

One of my favorite parks. Good play area. Plenty of picnic tables and huge shade trees in the summer, but we spent a beautiful fall day there for a kid birthday party.

Big beautiful park with lots of areas to play, walk, or just sit and eat lunch. I sat at a shaded bench near the tennis courts and enjoyed my lunch. Got a visit from 2 hungry squirrels!

A relaxing and quiet piece of serenity. We were visiting out of town and had a picnic in the park. It was a highlight of our trip.

Outstanding place to meet new friends and hang out with the ones you love. Be careful though, some people do not obey the leash law.

Nice, simple, quiet neighborhood park with lots of shade trees and a quaint old observatory. Well shaded kids playground. Nice, quiet residential neighborhood. Plush lawn. Great for picnics and volleyball. Highly recommended.

Very tranquil, quiet area and lots of shade. Many items of interest for kiddos 3 years of age and above. Ingenious use of flat top, that illustrates our Solar System. Restroom accommodations, as well as many, MANY, large trees, which provide relief from a hot summer sun.

Beautiful park a few blocks from DUs campus. Has an open field to run and play pick up sports, as well as 4 tennis courts. There's also a playground and a pic nic area

A nice, small, active park that keeps the light low in the evenings so you can do stargazing. One of my most favorite parks in Denver

This is easily one of my favorite parks in all of Denver. Usually empty even on the weekends. The observatory is an equally magnificent historic building and star gazing must be amazing.
