I have been going to Appearances since moving to Colorado several years ago. This salon is fantastic! Sondra is amazing! I have been getting color, highlights, and haircuts regularly and always leave with the most amazing results. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and welcoming. It’s a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. I also love Kérastase and Bumble & Bumble products. So glad I found Appearances! I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to Jaclyn for about the last 6 years, and she does an excellent job with my hair. I appreciate her attention to detail - and towards the end of each cut she checks with me for anything that I can see in the mirror for any adjustments that I see - and for those times I do see something she always does the adjustment perfectly. She also never rushes and is a very caring person - I can tell that by the way she takes care of my hair. Love seeing Jaclyn every month!

I became a resident of Colorado 9 months ago. I tried Appearances Hair Color & Design Studio after being especially impressed by their website. It is very professional and welcoming and the reviews were quite sincere and convincing. I couldn't have been happier! From my first visit, the staff has been so friendly, fun and they practically treat me like family. I receive wonderful results each time I get my hair done so I highly recommend their services of all types. I also want to congratulate them on their 20th Anniversary which they celebrated in the studio today with all their employees (several of which have worked there almost since it opened) and their clients! It was so festively decorated and they had an amazing spread of food to share. Thank you for including your clients, of which I'm happy to be one of, in your celebration. I went into this salon with looking like I've been living off the grid for a long time. I had an appointment with Hayley. She did an amazing job with my cut. I came out looking like a man that gets by on his looks. Also I have never let let anyone trim my facial hair before, I was surpassed that she did a better job than I ever could. Thanks Hayley.

Amazing customer service!! I came in last minute with a horribly botched hair cut from an unassociated hair salon elsewhere (to remain unnamed) and Sondra was so understanding and compassionate. She worked with me and what I had wanted and what could be done with my remaining length. She did a BEAUTIFUL cut with the choppy layers and volume I LOVE and wanted from the beginning!

She then set me up with Frankie who really listened to what I was looking for with color. Instead of highlights we went for an all over color and it turned out AMAZING! I am in love with the burgundy that came out. I have had non-stop compliments from friends and even strangers! The rest of Ithe hair stylists were kind and friendly as well.

I really appreciated their attention to detail and how much time and skill they put in to making it work for me and making sure it was done correctly.

I am only going here from now on and I have told all my friends to come here as well. Thank you ladies!!! 💚

My first visit to this salon. My stylist was Sydney and she did an amazing cut and color on my hair. I left loving my hair and it felt silky smooth! Everything about this salon is great, from the atmosphere, the highly skilled staff, the products, the energy and customer service. It was very inviting. The owners have definitely put their hearts into creating an outstanding business. I was apprehensive about going to a new stylist but so glad I did! I would recommend this salon if you are too! Convenient to Westminster, Broomfield, Thornton, Boulder and worth the drive if you live farther away. Ample parking too.

Thank you Sondra, After 7 with the same stylist, he began to flake on me, so I need to find someone new. As a woman wanting to rock a short cut, it's been hard to find a stylist who can provide a flattering short cut, but Sondra knocked it out of the park. She explained how to recreate to look at home, which has always been the thing that I hate when a stylist does my hair I couldn't ever make it look like that. So I went home and immediately washed my hair and tried to recreate the look.. Thanks to her explaining how to do my hair at home I was able to recreat the look. I highly recommend Sondra for a short cut.
