Denver Public Library: Hadley Branch Library

This is the best Denver Public Library branch! And it's all because of the staff. They are always kind, welcoming, and helpful. I always feel great coming here. I'm greeted with smiles and nice faces. This is a genuinely great group of Staff members both at the front desk and in the idea lab. This behavior is a breath of fresh air in the tension and frustrations of the world today. I really appreciate how everything is run here and I am so happy I found this library.

This is one of the best libraries in Denver.

Comfortable working spaces. Each seat equipped with a power point. Each computer has a set of headphones. There is enough computers for adults and for kids in different zones.

In kids area there are iPads with a great selection of learning apps.

Lots of books. Almost every day there are activities for kids like story time, art and craft, lego club, cooking class etc.

Their Idea Lab is brilliant, you can create jewellery, print t-shirts, make 3D models, create clothing, record music, and much more. The Instructors are wonderful and very helpful and all the staff in the library are wonderful and friendly

It's a perfect place for homeschoolers with all the incredible resources at your fingertips.

I has the fastest internet we have found in any library in America.

And the gem of this library is Idea lab.

Given that this library is right off south federal it's got a much more ethnic feel than all the other libraries.

That being said at 3pm there were a lot of kids running around being obnoxious.

I guess other libraries have kid zones. This library is TINY.

There Is a lab for 3d printing here.
They have a classroom I saw which had some Spanish programming I couldn't read taking place.

They have their own security guard.

They are open on Mondays which most libraries aren't. Another plus is they are open til 6pm.

I couldn't find anything bad about this branch in the 3 hours I spent there.

Even the bathrooms were nice.

They're open again! Went in today for a hold pickup, and they were giving out goodie bags. Favorite childhood library, happy to see some normalcy return

Such a beautiful little library. The book selection is great, and they even have a really nice graphic novels section. Their computers and printers are really nice, and their Idea Lab is just such a cool concept for kids and creatives. They even have a 3D printer and a soundproof recording studio! All the employees are extremely knowledgeable and polite. Definitely a hidden Denver gem.

The Librarians were awesome they were very helpful and great people skills they were genuinely nice. I appreciated them very much.

I went back today for the first time since the remodel. I have to say it is awesome!! They have an Idealab. You can learn how to make jewelry, sew, solder and much more. All for free. My son and I plan on sepending more time there. Great job on the remodel Hadley!

Close to walk, they have DVDs to chk out. This branch is modernized to have an IdeaLab with many development tools!
TheReference section is a little skimpy but that's cool.

Rihn is the nicest librarian and person you could ever meet! He treats kids so kindly and always has a great attitude no matter what! Hadley is a very lucky library to have him!
