Dutch Creek Liquors

I've been far and wide across this Great Land, sampling beer as I go. For the past three years as I have enjoyed my stay here in Littleton, this has become the place I come for the best spirits near me. Mind you, this is not the nearest place to me. It is the best place, and I pass several other liquor stores on my way to it.

Months ago, when Dutch Creek Liquors was a quarter of the current size, it still carried the best beer for miles. Bootstrap Brewing Wreak Havoc Imperial Red. The name itself is worthy of a Viking spirit award. The content, 8.5% abv that merries the malty brown with the piney hop with such perfection that I go the extra mile for it. I would have to go many miles more to a large warehouse liquor store for such a treat, and even then I'd be lost in the cavern of options. No, I want a local store, with good taste, that I can count on, and keep coming back to see what they decide to carry.

In recent months, Dutch Creek Liquors has expanded into a much more formidable storefront. Obviously, business has been going well. And how do I know it will continue to be so? Because of what I found tonight: Dogfish Head 90min IPA.

Look, I'm not really into all the impish IPAs these days. There's too many, and most suck to be honest. However, in all my travels, this particular IPA is quite simply the very best easy coast imperial pale ale that I've ever had. I lived in Baltimore, near the flagship Dogfish Head brewery, for many years. This brewery is a juggernaut. They compete with the very best beermakers in the world, and their local cask offerings are something I will opine for as long as I am away from the East Coast. But right here in Littleton, I get to make a connection to these behemoth flavors that keeps on growing here in my local spirits store.

Dutch Creek was the only shop to carry the delicious 8.5% Wreak Havoc Imperial Red near me, so I kept coming back for it. Now, I see them expand, and the impeccable 9.0% Dogfish Head 90min IPA shows up. Cheers to the owner, because you are showing that you have top shelf beer taste, and I am impressed!! Keep stocking what you love!

Ahem.... and it's a better price than anywhere else. No lie. If you're a serious microbrew fan, come see what you can find at Dutch Creek Liquors. Respect!

Special note to the owners: If you order Paulaner Salvatore, I would only buy it from you. I drive considerably further past your store to find it. You'd have 100% of my business if you carry it! Plus, it's one of the ancient Bavarian brews, Paulaner's first brew, so it would make you a beer-selling aficionado!

Love this place I stop by for cold 2liters and just to see the owner. Thats a real good guy. He Makes you feel appreciated every time ya come in , busy or not he takes the time to ask how's your day and what's new. We need more people like this in the world!

Great prices and amazing selections! One of the best in town! Dave is one of the best people I've ever met! Cares about his customers, the service they receive and their experience in his store. He gets to know his regulars even before you're a regular!

The owners are amazing funny and very welcoming. Well stocked . Top shelf to everyday drinks. Will go out of their way to remember your preferences , order your preferred liquors and keep you happy . Lots of novelty items too. Dave and Christine . Check them out.

This is my go-to liquor store. Great selection of alcohol and great prices. The owner is so nice and funny. Every time I go in we call each other "buddy" and we talk about life and I always walk out the door laughing with a huge smile. He works so hard and actually cares about his customers.

This is the best liquor I've ever been to and I'm not exaggerating. Dave was so kind, he immediately greeted me with a smile and asked about by my night.Good prices and a great selection. But I want to encourage anyone who comes across this post to be a loyal customer to Dutch Creek Liquors:) This place deserves the 5 stars. It’s a shame that the previous management caused the bad reviews making the rating a 4.8. Dave’s friendly service alone is 5 stars.

Best liquor store in the area. Small place but big selection. The owner is awesome and will remember you and make you feel welcome everytime you go in. If you're a regular he will make sure to keep stock of what you always buy. Prices are cheaper for what I buy compared to every liquor store I've been to around me.

Owner is very friendly a bit short but you'd never notice because he stands on a stool his name is Dave super cool guy best liquor store ever. wonderful hours open till midnight 7 days a week.

ALWAYS reliably still open until midnight every single night of year! Plus—great selection, products are priced reasonably and the owner is incredibly friendly & down-to-earth. Don’t mind driving a little further just to give this place my business rather than elsewhere. This place is awesome!

"Uncle" Dave and his wife are wonderful and seem to know all of their patron's names. As Johnny's successor, Dave and his wife are a pleasure to visit. A great little store with great prices that I go out of my way to visit.

Not sure about the one star review five months ago but I think Dave the new owner is great. Very friendly and helps carry your selection when he can. Dutch Creek is my new "go to" place. Miss his smiley face when he's not there though he seems to always be there. His staff are all friendly as well.

Dave and his wife are great local people! Always gives a warm welcome and great selection of pretty much everything! Good price on juul pods, cigarettes too!!
