Essex House Motel

Dump no heat the smells inside the room was like cabbage. They came in the room while I was in the shower 35minutes before check out time. No one understands English language it was a real dump do not stay there.

The owners are really nice. Family owned and operated. They were always super cool to me.

I really like the rooms. They are HUGE. WITH A HUGE BED and an amazing shower
Plus the owners are very nice. She gave me a good deal on the room and didn't charge me the key deposit because she knew I was on a limited income

Stayed here a full month +. I had a wreck and totaled my vehicle. N was stuck in Denver.(Littleton). Lucked up on this very understanding family that runs this establishment. After it was all said and done i ended up stsying here a little longer than a month which allowed me a discounted rate. Allowed me my privacy. A large police presence in parking lot ( they use it as a speed trap. They also constantly patrol around the motel grounds. I never felt threatened or apprehensive at all. Over all great experience

It's dated but it's comfortable the owners are wonderful hard working people that are very accommodating. Also the shower is HUGE!! Love it

Room was clean, neighboring rooms were quiet, had no theiving issues. Was a little overpriced for the quality of room, but was still nice. Would recommend and stay here again!

Anyone that has ever seen Motel Hell will get a kick out of this joint: The swimming pool is filled with dirt for this creepy garden. And this little boy who hangs out with the maintenance man all day yells at the guests things his parents are saying - as little kids are wont to do. That alone is funny stuff, delightfully awkward. Except his eyes are haunted and weird, like someone who has seen too much at 50. Only this dude is like 5, tops. And he didn't sound so much like a parrot, but more like a crow. Maybe his parents are making people into chili, or maybe a little kid shouldn't wander around a cheap motel on the highway barking at people like a sawed-off prison guard if he's going to be anything but that. But what the hell, it sure is an interesting study in people.

The owner was very helpful and nice.
The hotel is a bit noisy but the price was really low. At the offered price that's probably the best we could get.

Still rooms for improvement though.

The people who own the Essex house Motel are good people. They took care of every single need that we had as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. They were a pleasant. Group of people.

I really love this Motel and they have great rooms. However I truly think everyone should rent a room and enjoy with their family and love ones.....

I have no idea why this place gets such bad reviews, I got excellent service, the room was completely spotless, and there's free wifi. As far as cheap motels go you can't really ask for more.

They were cool with me registering my car here and getting my plates. I will definetly be renting more rooms..Here

People are very friendly. Very reasonable price. The building looks old but very well maintained.
