Optum Primary Care And Specialty Care

I've been to Optum Primary Care and Specialty Care twice recently for CT scans. The first one was a simple CT scan at the end of November. I was able to book an appointment quickly, hardly any wait when I arrived, and everyone was nice. I was in and out in probably 15 minutes and received the results by the end of the day.

The second time I went, I needed a CT scan with contrast to check something noticed on the first scan. Again, they had a quick turn around for getting me in for an appointment and I didn't have to wait long in the lobby. The nurse was AMAZING. Doing a CT scan with contrast is a little bit more involved and much more uncomfortable (it's a very short discomfort) but she made everything as easy as possible and gave me all the information I needed to be prepared for how the contrast makes you feel. We talked, laughed, and she just all around made everything as stress-free as possible.

I can't review any other aspects of this building but the Radiology Department is amazing.

I have been going to the same clinic and the same Dr for 15 years. I have always been treated wonderful.It has been under several group names but the Drs and care remain excellent.

This is the best doctors office I have ever been to. The receptionist was so nice and friendly. I was really impressed with her but then also Dr. Shilling was so great! I always have a lot of anxiety when visiting a gynecologist but he was so comforting I immediately felt a sense of relief. He actually explained all of my options and what the procedure entailed. Not once did I feel judged or uncomfortable at all. Dr shilling is the best doctor that I have seen in my 44 years of going to the doctor. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Shilling.

I had a great experience with Optum. My appointment was for late afternoon and right on time, no wait. Everyone I encountered, from the receptionist to the X-ray tech were wonderful. Michele Wolf was so compassionate and caring. I was in and out of the building in less than an hour, including X-rays! I had to call the office after a problem at the pharmacy and was treated very kindly, and they went above and beyond to resolve my problem. I would recommend this office to family and friends.

I am always happy with every experience from my primary doctor, staff and services. Couldn't find a better place to trust my Healthcare with!

Aimee Johnson-Wirt is the best Pediatrician we have had for our boys. Always straight to the point. Very knowledgeable; and cares about her job. Knows what she's talking about every time we have a visit. I love it!
Front staff in Pediatrics is always helpful and she is very patient and professional. I never feel rushed.

I appreciate the great Customer care Optum has to offer for my kiddos!

Dr. Evig is my OB/GYN and I have always found her to be friendly, compassionate and concerned. She is a good listener and does not make me feel rushed. I also appreciate her nurse Shelly who made every effort to return my phone calls quickly and get a procedure scheduled without much delay. Shelly called me within two business days with my results and the recommendations for what we needed to do next.

Am I a fan of the hold time when you first call in or the "message takers" who grill you for personal information before they are willing to pass along your message? Of course not. However, I feel this is pretty standard for any physician's office these days and how I am treated once I get to the office is so much more important!

I have been going to the Briargate facility for several years now and have no complaints. Having worked in the medical community for 20 years, I find Davita better than most for efficiency and prompt response to medical questions and concerns. Getting an appointment with my primary care doctor may require booking out a few weeks,but it has always been possible to get in promptly with the Physician Assistant. I appreciate the access to onside lab. I do not hesitate to recommend this medical group.

My family and I have been coming here for our healthcare needs for some time. My husband for many years, and myself and our children for about a year. It is always easy to get an appointment, we have never had to wait more than a few minutes (we are often called back before we are even finished filling out whatever paperwork is needed for the particular visit), the staff is friendly and helpful overall, and the doctors seem to listen and they answer my questions. I had one issue with billing that was quickly resolved with an easy, fast phone call. We are happy to give our healthcare business to the good folks at Davita.

Have had great experiences at this office. Followed my primary here who is one of the most informative and helpful doctors I've been in the care of. Heather is super friendly and made sure the details of my visit were handled promptly. All of the staff responded to issues fast and effectively. Offices are immaculate, wait times are normal.

Six years! That's how long I've been coming to this office. I've seen Family Practice, my former spouse utilizes their OBGYN services, and our daughter sees Doctor Nitcher in Pediatrics and we absolutely are thrilled with how things go!

Sometimes we have to show up early and wait patiently since appointments run over, but it's not a big deal because I know the staff is doing their best and in the words of Forrest Gump, "Sh** Happens." We should be lucky that we even have access to such good healthcare. It could always be worse, like the Veterans have to deal with at the VA!

Oh and lest we forget, every single time I call about a billing item it's always a pleasant time and they get it resolved. Kudos to the DaVita Medical Group team!

Absolutely stellar care by the entire staff. WOW - I have been looking for a pediatrician and so grateful to have found one that cares. My son was born with a skin condition and I have longed to find a doctor that will take interest and help me help my son. Everyone was so kind. Forever grateful.

I had an excellent, fast visit, and I was done just 8 minutes after my appointment time. From check-in to visit completion, everyone was amazing! Also, they have the sweetest dressing gowns in Radiology, and everything is VERY clean. Thanks again!

Our kids spent their entire youth with care from this office - almost 21 years now. Dr. Stephanie Wallace has been an amazing pediatrician and astutely noted the possibility of Celiac disease in our youngest when only two years old. It's a notoriously difficult disease to diagnose (it took our child's diagnosis to point to the issues my wife had been having unsuccessfully diagnosed for 5 years). Dr. Wallace and the rest of the staff have always been very professional, accommodating, and responsive to our needs.

I’ve gone to all the monument and cos locations throughout the last 4 years and I am always happy. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. At this location, I really just love my OB, Dr. Evig. She’s super amazing and really cares about her patients. I saw her for my last pregnancy and I’m so excited to have her again with this one! 💕

I highly recommend Dr. Kristin Mills. She makes me feel heard and respected. She's the first doctor that doesn't talk over me or make me feel like I'm crazy when I tell her whats going on. She is thorough and patient and I couldn't ask for more when it comes to my health and wellness.

I can't thank Dr. Caulkins and all the staff at BG Optum enough! During COVID-19 each person has stepped up to others losses,sickness and concerns. Having to wait a hour or so in the waiting room is nothing to the sacrifices each one of you give,knowing each patient before myself,is getting the care and time needed. Not being brushed off during a pandemic is comforting and healing in its self. Again, thank you!!

Our Family has been going to Optum/Davita/CSHP for over 15 years. We love Dr. Richard Evans and his staff. Scheduling, check-in, NP, women's health, hospitals, MRI, X-rays, MA's have all been great to work with for our family care.

My little guy sees Dr Johnson-Wirt. We absolutely love her. She is always extremely informative and actually takes time to talk with you about your child. She is wonderful!

This is the best medical clinic in the Colorado Springs area. The staff are friendly, caring and attentive to their patients needs. I do recommend this clinic to everyone I know, if whom live the clinic too.
