Neptune Society

Karen, the Neptune representative, met with us in our home at our request. She was very friendly, yet professional. We had joined Neptune ourselves about two years ago. This visit was to enroll our adult son into the program. Her presentation and explanations were clear and concise. The cost of the program is reasonable. We would recommend the Program and Karen Zinn for consideration by anyone making important life decisions.

We purchased a pre-paid plan two years ago for my elderly mother as she was on hospice care. The staff at Neptune are so kind and caring in their approach. There was no pressure to upsell or talk us into more services. The staff simply had one goal - to make an emotional time as gentle and easy as possible. I felt valued and emotionally respected.

Mom passed 2 weeks ago. I could not been more pleased to have chosen Neptune. They came soon after her passing. The staff were so kind and informative as we signed the final papers. I could not recommend Neptune any more highly. And the price was 30 percent lower than another local cremation service I contacted. Thank you to the staff there. You handled a difficult, vulnerable, emotional time with grace and kindness.

From someone who has never been in this type of situation, nor prepared whatsoever, not even knowing the next steps to take... I am so beyond thankful to have went to Neptune Society! Everyone there has been so welcoming, patient, attentive, and passionate towards my family and I. There is honestly no other place I would want to go or have to go now for future arrangements. I have already shared to my family, colleagues, friends, neighbors about this wonderful place. I don't know what else to say... They are the best in New Mexico if you ask me. How easy and stressless this entire experience has been for me. They took care of my husband and I will forever be thankful to them, my children as well. Thank you.

Please be aware that the state of New Mexico is one of the few states where you have to pay a little extra in fees to tie up loose ends that a prepaid cremation won’t cover. It shouldn’t cost more than $125 as of this writing in January 2024. Hopefully this fee issue will be fixed by the state of New Mexico in the future so people with prepaid cremation plans won’t have to worry about any extra fees.

The staff at Neptune were so accommodating and kind in my time of need. They took the time to explain the process and made sure everything went smooth. I am tremendously grateful for the compassion and kindness they have continued to show.

I knew my brother had made arrangements with Neptune, so I was aware that I would be dealing with them. They were extremely supportive and helpful with how the process with the Medical Examiners office worked. I was glad Neptune handled relations with the ME for the personal effects and the release of the body. They understood how important it was to me to get Eric's keys and wallet. Someone was always able to talk to me to keep me updated and to answer my questions.

Jennifer worked directly with our family in a way that helped something very uncomfortable feel comfortable. She allowed any form of communication that we needed on weekends, evenings, etc. via text or phone call. Thank you for all that you were willing to do in a great time of need for our family Jennifer. The respect was beautiful.

Neptune society was so wonderful. We pre planned for our 95 dad’s passing. He lived with us. If you’re going thru this, arrange with Neptune in advance and use hospice. We provided home hospice. The nurses and caregivers from hospice are saints. And Neptune Society was $1,000 below the price of a local crematorium. Dad didn’t have any money, so these savings were crucial to us. And their kindness was so appreciated. The transition for him was peaceful. Hospice and Neptune just took care of all the rest.

The professional yet personal care shown by Grace and the staff at the Albuquerque location showed us that excellent customer service is alive and well. The two gentleman who transported Mom were very kind and respectful. Grace in particular was very understanding and seemed to know the emotional rollercoaster that families go through during a time of loss. My wife and I will soon enroll in a plan for us both, knowing that no matter the circumstances, we'll be well taken care of.

I had the best experience with the Neptune Society on the passing of my partner. Grace and her staff were so thoughtful, communicative, and compassionate at a very difficult time. I never felt any pressure about anything - just patient, open hearts and a willingness to serve. Highly recommend.

Needed something quick for a dying friend. Found an affordable streamlined process at Neptune. We were directed to the people who could help with our specific need. Working with Grace (love her name & loved her) was smooth and professional. There were glitches, as there are, but we overcame them quickly and the end result was beautiful. Our friend was well taken care of and his children were not overly burdened at a sorrowful time. We praise our Lord Jesus for leading us there.

The Neptune Society was stellar in taking care of everything after my wife passed away. They were efficient, knowledgeable and caring. They were sensitive to the fact that I had lost my very dear life companion.

I was treated with the utmost compassion, empathy and respect. My sister passed suddenly. She had the wish to be cremated, but did not make any arrangements. Grace never attempted to upsell me and guided me through the whole process with great tenderness. Elizabeth has checked in on me in a manner that has been non-intrusive and caring. I have been so impressed with everyone at the Neptune Society, I preplanned my own cremation with Renee, who was equally as respectful, compassionate and empathetic as Grace and Elizabeth.

I was not initially aware that my mother had a policy with the Neptune Society however once I discovered it and began moving through the process I was so thankful they were there to handle the various affairs with getting my mother to her final resting place. I would highly recommend to anyone considering cremation, that they reach out to the Neptune Society. Not only are they there for you through the entire process providing updates but they’re all so very nice and pleasant to speak with providing condolences with each call. I would like to send a special thank you to Jennifer Galazen and please know I will never forget how wonderful she was to work with.

My husband passed away sooner than expected and 2 weeks before his passing I contacted Neptune Society for help with his cremation needs. Renee came to my home and seamlessly helped fill out all necessary forms, and Grace handled the actual process with care and compassion. The costs are reasonable and Neptune Society is very efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend them if you or a loved one is interested in cremation.

I have had two positive experiences with the Albuquerque, New Mexico office of Neptune Society; the first in 2021 with David Slaten as Service Manager and recently in August 2023 with Grace Solano Pagliaro as the new Service Manager.
In both occasions I have been treated with compassion and kindness by the staff at the ABQ location. The decisions and details our family had to make were made easier by the guidance of the very knowledgeable and caring Ms. Pagliaro.

I highly recommend the Neptune society. The cost was only 60% of what French's mortuary wanted, and the experience was very good. The funeral director showed the upmost care and consideration.

I was very impressed with the Neptune Society program. Program is reasonably priced, interest free payment plan makes it even more affordable. The plan covers all of our needs, even provided transport home should we pass far from home. Neptune Society gives us peace of mind, everything is arranged in advance relieving our children of the pressure and burden during an already difficult time. I am very impressed with the Neptune Society and their pre-need arrangements. I recommend this program to everyone.
