The crown on my front tooth came off at 7pm on a weekday night and to my surprise Dr. Lopez had his personal number to call in case of an emergency. He met me at his office right away and within two hours I had a new crown—that looks better than my old one! To come in after hours and stay late to take care of someone who isn’t even his patient (I will be now!) speaks volumes to how he runs his practice. My husband and I were so pleased with the quality of care, knowledge, and expertise. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Lopez.

I had an emergency dental issue (ended up needing a root canal & crown), I called several places and Summit was the first place who said they could see me same day! The staff was SO nice on the phone and in person, and Dr Lopez was incredible. He explained every step of what he was doing, and his staff was very thorough with pricing, insurance etc. and explained everything clearly. I seriously never leave reviews, but 10/10 would recommend!!

What an outstanding group of professionals, lead by an outstanding dentist, Dr Lopez! I was visiting Spokane and called needing an emergency root canal and they squeezed me in and treated me like I had been their patient for years. My dental care was caring, professional and of the highest quality! We are moving to Spokane in the next 3-4 months and we have found our new dental team!!

Dr. Lopez and the team are so caring! I’ve had a few visits now and they are all very good experiences. I highly recommend anyone (no matter what issues you may have) to schedule with his office. The ladies all take time explaining paperwork or dental procedures and put your mind at ease. Dr. Lopez takes time to listen to me.

I highly recommend Dr. Lopez!!! He and his staff are very helpful, caring, and professional. Dr. Lopez added two implants for missing teeth recently and I never had any trouble with them at all. He tells you about the procedure, what to expect before and after, and answers all your questions. I'm very pleased with the implants and my mouth feels better all ready. He has a gentle but firm touch, which means confidence, so this gives me confidence in his abilities. His office offers one stop shopping for all your dental needs. Always the friendliest staff. Dr. Lopez is so kind and thorough and patient. He truly cares. I've had a few dentists and he's by far the most professional, yet caring dentist I've had.

Stop your search, Dr Lopez is the best dentist I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve moved around and must’ve worked with 15 different dentist offices in my life. 

Firstly, the location is pristine, so clean and well maintained. The staff is all still masking and they take temperatures before allowing patients back into the procedural area which puts me at ease because I live in an immune-compromised household and we are still working diligently to not get sick with covid-19. The design is sleek and modern with all top of the line equipment, seriously some amazing tech in this place.

I originally saw him in 2021 to get a tooth attended to that I had put off treatment for because of the pandemic, but I couldn’t put it off any longer, and I knew my general oral health wasn’t in a great place. His staff taught me about how to better care for my teeth and he helped me figure out a plan to get a handle on my oral health before it was too late (**spoiler alert, start flossing daily now before you really regret it**). I didn’t have dental insurance at the time, but they helped me get on a Careington discount plan that significantly helped with costs. I had to save and plan my finances really responsibly, which def took a bunch of time, but its been really worth it.

Now I’ve had a root canal, we’ve started 3 implants, and I’ve had 2 crowns done (both crowns were done in the same day and in after about 50 min, printed in house!) with him and have been beyond happy with the experience and my results.

I’ve had dentists make mistakes while working on me, like pinch me or cut my lips accidentally, just all sorts of amateur-hour stuff most folks don’t want to experience at the dentist- but there’s none of that with this guy! I’ve really gotten to work through a lot of my anxiety and trauma from having bad dentists working on me because this office cares so much about the work they do. At first I would have them use the gas on me to get work done but now I don’t need it any more because I trust these folks so much. They are skilled and communicate to you well.

One of the crowns I had done was a front top tooth, and Dr Lopez hand-painted it to match my teeth PERFECTLY. Like, it looks better than the tooth that was there before and blends right in. I was FLOORED when he handed me the mirror.

Lastly, I’m a trans person, and sometimes it can be a challenge to go to a professional service and ask folks to use a different name than my legal name, but they have been so great about calling me the name I want to go by and are just generally kind and nice people. Dr Lopez is a confident, intelligent, considerate and kind dentist.
This place is totally worth it.

I had a great experience at Summit dentistry today. I needed a crown replacement which usually takes 2 weeks from start to finish. At Dr. Lopez’s office it took less than 2 hours and he made a new tooth right at his location.
The office is tidy and the staff is friendly. On top of that Dr Lopez is very competent and has reasonable prices.

Best dental experience I've ever had! I flew in to Spokane to visit family and had a front tooth crown fracture and break off. I called and Dr Lopez got me in and out in a matter of hours. I felt very comfortable with the whole procedure as he explained everything with confidence. I also experienced no pain, felt very relaxed in the chair, and had no anxiety. I usually have high anxiety in situations like this. He was very professional. I was so Grateful they were able to fix a very complicated tooth crisis. I can now enjoy the rest of our vacation with a brilliant smile. I wish he was located in my home town. I'd definitely make Dr. Lopez my primary family dentist!

Dr Lopez and his staff are excellent. By far the most competent and caring dental office I have ever been to, and I've been to more than my share of dentists over the years. They have all the equipment to make crowns on site, and even make sure my wife and daughter, who need sedation on most visits, are comfortable and still enjoy their visits. We now have three generations of my family seeing Dr Lopez, with my granddaughter now a patient, and couldn't recommend him any higher. He is the best, and his staff is highly trained and super helpful.

Do you have EXTREME dental anxiety? I do! So much that my previous dentist asked me to find an IV sedation office. However, I found Summit. I was offered an appointment immediately. They've kindly offered many options for anxiety but they have various levels of oral medications (which I prefer).
My hygienist, Lupe, has been instrumental in my ability to receive dental care. She had my teeth in excellent shape so quickly. She's been so responsive to my problems with metabolizing all of the numbing agents.
Dr. Lopez performed a root canal and crown placement. I was nervous that like many before, he would tell me I wasn't feeling pain, but just pressure, and keep on working. I finally had dental care without horrible pain! I have a beautiful functional crown in my mouth as I type this. The shape was excellent and the bite. My family member had the very same work on the very same tooth the day before me but at a different provider. She's still very sore. She has pain, swelling and is having to face her severe anxiety again to get the crown seated in two weeks. Within hours I was able to eat. I awoke the next day with very minimal discomfort which was easily remedied. Im eating hard crunchy foods a day later.
We paid the same market price for our work but my experience has been so positive comparatively. I feel like they've really worked with my needs when possible to get my smile healthy. Scheduling is always very quick and easy. They let me turn up my music and respond very well to needs during visits. I recommend this dentist in general but especially to those who want to feel like more than a number when receiving this type of care.

All around great company. The team at Summit are always courteous, helpful, and correspond to problems promptly. Dr. Lopez has been a pleasure to receive care from. He is always going the extra mile to explain the treatment plan and providing option/recommendations that are cost effective. Dr. Lopez and his staff are some of the BEST I've ever had. I've had to have extensive work done, and have seen them almost biweekly for the last year, and they are always friendly and considerate, upfront, and helpful. It's been a difficult journey, and while I hesitate to call any dental experience enjoyable, they've at least made me feel cared for and safe!

I went in thinking I was going to need a root canal and crown, but Dr. Lopez found a better way and saved my tooth. He could've just done the root canal and taken more of my money, but he was practical and had my best interests and my wallet in mind. My husband and I have been going to Dr Lopez for several years for all of our dental needs (and we go fairly regularly). Have never, ever had a bad or negative experience with Dr. Lopez or any of his staff. Without question, Dr. Lopez and his dental hygienist Gina are the best in Spokane. They genuinely care for their patients. Every staff member at Summit Family & Cosmetic Dentistry cares deeply about their patients and they are the cream of the crop.

I am scared to death of dentists after a bad experience as a child. I had not been to a dentist in about 20 years when I broke a tooth and Dr. Lopez was the only one in town that had extended hours and could get me in. He was very patient with me, knowing I don't like dentists. I live in Montana and I still drive to Spokane just to go to him. He has an excellent personality and handles my nervousness really well. He is always smiles and takes nervous teasing with a laugh. His helpers will talk with you and answer questions and have great personalities. Thank you Dr. LOPEZ for putting up with me when we both know I always want to just bolt out. 🙂

I appreciate Dr. Lopez and his thorough work as my dentist. He is always courteous, enjoyable, and does good work. I appreciate his ability and willingness to communicate exactly what is going on with my teeth and other procedures. His staff are great, personable, kind, and good at what they do. Having had a lot of dental/orthodontic work done recently, Dr. Lopez has also put me at ease and let me know that he will help me through whatever is to come next.

I am also extremely impressed with his work with my children. They love driving by his office and pointing it out, excited about their dentist! They love going with me, even if they don't have an appointment of their own. Dr. Lopez always makes them feel comfortable and makes them laugh. Not only that, he explains to them very simply what is going on and how they can have healthy teeth. The staff also make it enjoyable for them. I would highly recommend!
