What a great, cozy, friendly and vital restaurant. This is the premier classic good continental restaurant in downtown Everett. Every time we have amazing service, drinks, food and atmosphere. The chicken Parmesan is fantastic and they really know how to cook a steak. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes. They have seasonal specials and a live musician every Wednesday. Don't sleep on Buck's!

Husband and I stopped in randomly on a very rainy mid-afternoon Monday. We were both craving a burger. Happened to show up when they had two chefs special burgers left available. We both thoroughly enjoyed the burgers! My husband said "this burger has ruined me for all others." We also got the fried cheese ravioli with marinara. Really delicious. Our server Amber was spot on. The chef was very personable too. Parking was easy.

I ordered the Pear Prawn salad, which was very good. The little really enjoyed the fries and chicken strips. This was a great pit stop for us. We parked on the street and enjoyed the walk up the sidewalk to the restaurant. The servers were so friendly and welcoming. They answered my questions and were very patient with the little as she ordered.

Had lunch with a friend. I had the rockfish tacos ( one of them would have been a meal) and he had the mushroom burger. Both were great at reasonable prices matched with great service. The old building provides a great vibe.

The baked brie was good and the salmon entree was nice. The peanut butter pie dessert was the best I've ever had! The hospitality was amazing and made the experience even better.

This place is well put together, there's a cohesive vibe and it's warm and inviting. The place was packed the whole time we were there but you would never think it by the ease of the staff. The bartender mixed a perfect Foghorn with just enough lime.
The portions were ample and everything was fresh and inviting. The pork shank was PERFECT, fall off the bone. I also frequently find demi glazes to take on a bitter, burnt flavor but this sauce was rich, full of depth and just delicious.
The garlic mash is right up there among the best and the vegetables were bright and tender. My husband said this was the best chicken parmesan he has had yet. The house made Alfredo sauce had a fantastic hit of garlic that played well with the herb crust of the chicken.
Even our little daughter, a notoriously picky eater took decent efforts at her fish and chips. Sampling a small piece, the fried halibut was well seasoned, crisp and properly drained so it was not greasy or mushy underneath.
From start to finish this was a great experience. I would say this will be a new local favorite for us.
Parking can be a little tough, you may want a reservation on weekends as well.

I had the Reuben, which was excellent. The bread was very crispy as it should be. I asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were. I got an extra side of tartar and thousand island for my sandwich. The wait-person was very attentive and competent.

My mom was meeting long-time, out of town friends whom she hadn't seen in over a decade at Buck's Cafe last Sunday. Unfortunately, they arrived just an hour before closing. The staff that day were SO KIND AND GRACIOUS, inviting these old, dear, dear friends to stay and continue visiting for a couple of hours past closing. I just appreciate so much the "above and beyond" service that made this a very special day for my 81 year old mother. Thank you.

The service was EXCELLENT...The gentleman that waited on us was awesome, friendly,and very attentive. Cannot say enough about the food or service. We will definitely be going back.

Located just a few blocks east of downtown Everett in a historic bank building. My well done burger was still juicy and flavorful, which is not easy to do. The fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned. They were running a special huckleberry menu and I wanted to try everything.

The ladies from Texas had a wonderful dining experience. Anna served us well. I finally got that praline pie. The soup was great & Katie loved her Rueben. Linda raved about the pie. Friendly atmosphere & walking distance from the Hotel. Thanks

I had such a good dinner here last night that we came back tonight. I wish I'd taken pictures because the food was beautiful. Last night we had a party of 4 and ordered the Halibut and Chips, Kids cheese burger and steak salad. And then the peanut butter pie which is too delicious for words. Everything was beautiful and exceptionally good. The halibut was in a really nice, crispy tempura batter, the fries were very crisp on the outside but moist on the inside.The salad was very fresh, I'm so tired of oxidized salad pieces that are rusty in color, the lettuce in this salad all looked perfect. The tomatoes in the salad and burger were gorgeous, we thought maybe heirlooms?
Tonight we went back and got the Tempura halibut/chips again and a side salad and the peanut butter pie. It was as good as last night. The servers are so gracious and helpful. No attitude if you don't order alcohol. The ambiance of the cafe was really relaxing and enjoyable, the food is excellent quality and the prices are very fair. I highly recommend!

Good eggs, Benedict. Please consider thicker ham. I would rate your eggs Benedict as a seven out of 10. Would be a 10 out of 10 because the potatoes are wonderful, fruit is fresh, hollandaise is perfect, just don’t skimp on the ham.

Super sweet staff, I feel so bad I don't remember our waiters name but he was a super nice guy with dark hair and a bunch. Very kind staff, delicious food, we work in the service industry as well & you guys are amazing 👏🏻

I’ve dined at Buck’s twice and both times have been an excellent experience. Ordered ribeye medium and it was cooked perfectly with a nice char. The sides were delicious. Clean plate club! The service was outstanding. Both visits had the same delightful waitress. Loved the ambience and vibe of this place!

Food, service,and atmosphere of the old restored building was great. We are from out of state and by chance were intrigued by the reviews so gave it a try. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of the fish tacos with the peach salsa and flavored sour cream. I recommend travelers on I-5 take time, pull off the freeway and dine at Buck’s you will not be disappointed.

A hidden everett gem for great food and drinks! The food here is so well made and features classy updates to your old favorites. Fish and chips fans will love the halibut and chips and even just the appetizers are delicious enough to order and share. Also super nice staff, cozy atmosphere and delicious drinks- and they dont skimp on the booze! 🍸

A great intimate atmosphere. I consider it more of a restaurant than a cafe. The service was excellent. The food and drink were great. We had a very enjoyable dinner.

Tremendous restaurant! Staff is of high quality. There is a reason for a waiting list. Owner Amy Abbott found a spot for us even though they were completely booked. She is just superb! The Hot Seafood salad is just beyind words and the Salmon was done just perfectly. This is the place to come.. Hands down!!! Greg was a great host and very down to earth. Just surperb! Great food at a great price. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and funny. The food was delicious. This is one of those places that should be on the list of best cafes in Washington.
