Amazing! We have been all over the US and tried "Competition winning BBQ" this was by far the best! The smoke was spot on and everything was top notch flavor! Chef Brandon made us an amazing spread with all the fixings! Will be returning with more hungry mouths to feed! We even used the leftovers for breakfast! P.s. get the hot apple crisp for dessert! 😋

We ordered to-go and picked it up on the way to a high-school basketball game. Never been here, but we'll be sure to stop again! I had the Slawpy Heiffer, which is the brisket (they also have a pulled pork Slawpy Hog) deluxe sandwich. Bacon, nacho cheese sauce, and jalapeño coleslaw top the brisket along with their signature Backyard BBQ Sauce. Simply excellent! Served with a side, I chose their beans. The beans were firm, but tender, with a perfectly sweet thick sauce and I would absolutely recommend them. Don't hesitate to stop in, even if you're just passing by.

Best bbq in Washington state, definitely a place to visit. The brisket is moist and juicy, it melts in your mouth.

I drove past this place but my appetite got the better of me as I u-turned down the road to come to eat here and I'm glad I did. Some of the best brisket and ribs I've had in Washington, hands down. Both were super tender with the fat rendered nicely. Friendly service to boot!

I travel to the Colville area a few times a year and decided to try this place because I have folks under 21 with me on the business trip. IT IS AMAZING! Highly recommend eating here, the service was exceptional and the food blew my mind. Very affordable and I’m definitely coming back, maybe even tomorrow night it is that good.

Top quality BBQ. Great atmosphere, huge portions and very fair pricing. A must stop if you are in northern Stevens county and worth the trek if you live outside the area.

Very delicious. I got the sampler of beef brisket, ribs, curly fries, and corn on the cob.

The service was excellent, fast, and friendly! They have taken care to protect their customers by wearing masks and making room in the dining area for everyone to have space. I felt safe and comfortable. Not to intentionally leave the food to the last, our meals were so good! My street tacos were very tasty with the jalepeno cilantro coleslaw and the pork (very tender!)! I only wish we had been in town long enough to come here again!!

Thank you Chef! Your beef brisket was top shelf and I appreciated the large portion. This is competition quality BBQ. Will definitely plan my future trips to include a stop in Kettle Falls and work my way through your menu. Keep on smoking!

Amazing food and customer service. You have to have their French Dip!

The brisket is the best I've had outside of Texas and better than most I've had in Texas. Prices are reasonable and the service was good. We will return.

Sept 2022 Update: We returned! I'm always a little worried about building a place up in my mind then being disappointed. Not an issue here. The brisket was so great and I love their meatloaf.

Outstanding BBQ. Turkey Bacon sandwich is smoked to perfection - moist and tender and full of flavor. I’ve had it with house sauce and it is a delicious traditional BBQ flavor. Per Jo’s suggestion, I tried it with garlic aioli, also delicious but a completely different sandwich. Try it. The Jalapeño Coleslaw is different and it’s delicious. The Drunk Mashed Potatoes and Baked Beans are pure comfort food - very tasty. If you’re anywhere near Kettle Falls (or even if you aren’t), don’t miss this place.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Their Nachos are one of our favorites. But this place is very popular, so if you are going in the evening you should call first to make sure they still have what you want because they can run out. Especially on holidays.

Excellent meal. The food was perfect and this is the best French Dip you could ever buy. The bread and the quality of the meats used are excellent, the cheese was absolutely divine. The wine is excellent. The service was great and our waitress was helpful, but not overbearing. I highly recommend Backyard BBQ for a great meal.

The food is excellent! They always have a good daily special. The service is fast and friendly. I drive an hour to get here and it’s worth it. The brisket sandwich is my favorite. Comfort in a cup with pulled pork is a close second.

This is the best place to eat in stevens county, it doesn't matter what you get, french dip? Awesome! Pulled pork? Better than any I've had and I lived down south for 5 years where pulled pork is life. Brisket? The best Texas brisket couldn't touch it. Street tacos to die for, nachos and cheese fries that you can get covered in pork or beef. Go there you won't regret it

If I could give it 6 stars I would! Lizz our server was personable, prompt, friendly and accurate. The food was to die for. Brisket that just fell apart when you touched it with a utensil. Ribs smoked just right and a spicy bbq sauce. YUM!!! Big shout out to Lizz for making our experience AWESOME!!!
