Although the park isn't in the best part of town, the city manages to keep this park very clean and safe. There is security on-site during the day. My son loves this park and we will continue to visit each summer.

This park has changed quite a bit since I have grown up but it is still a family friendly park for every member of the family to enjoy!

Nice water splash feature. Drawbacks are a lot of homeless people, which in itself isn't bad, but they are sleeping all over, and some put up tarp shelters. Also they need more porta-potties. There is only one and we had to leave because someone wouldn't come out and we had waited 40 minutes to use it. Aside from that it is a nice park.

A beautiful park in the heart of Yakima near the municipal center. Grassy fields, basketball courts and shade trees provide a calming environment to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Picnic tables scattered here and there provide a place to have lunch or have a seat as you walk through the heart of the downtown corridor.

Maintenance crew does a good job keeping everything ship-shape for residents who utilize this park. If you have a chance, swing by and walk around if you're looking for a spot to relax and enjoy a summer day or reflect on a cloudy afternoon.

What a great place to relax and cool off on a typical HOT summer day. Picnic facilities. A children's splash pool that even adults can be seen enjoying. Big trees, lots of shade, lots of fun for everyone.

I disagree because I love that park...it's great enough for me and my family and I've seen it be good enough for a number of my friends too.
