If there existed a reason to write a review it is due to today's experience with Shaw Plumbing. Wow! Articulate, accurate scheduling, exceptional service and pricing. My specific tech was Nathan and would recommend this gentleman to everyone, especially us South-Hill older home owners. Highly trained, articulate, approachable, and offers great tips and insights on providing longevity to your existing system design. Truly, this individual and his organization offer "value added".

David was amazing and so helpful! He arrived early to our appointment, explained what the problem was thoroughly, and didn’t gauge me in repair prices like the other leading plumbing companies do. He immediately got to work to solve the problem, was friendly while doing so, and did a great job cleaning up after himself before he left. Will absolutely be calling Shaw again for future plumbing work.

I have to say, Since we had that artic weather in Jan. 2024 our Dad's hot water heater went out. I called around and had Gold &---- come in. Just walked in glanced at heater and walked out. Just said you need new heater with a quote of 2000ish. Had Shaw come look and they actually took it apart tested it. Cory explained every process. He was professional and he gave us options. He came back today with Nathan and they WORKED. You don't think about spiders or cobwebs, or even the tight walkways or spaces until they are lugging the tanks up and down. They are knowledgeable and HARD working. They cleaned up, even let me get a pic to share with you all. Shaw plumbing is my new go to. I think you'd like them too. THANK YOU CORY AND NATHAN. Shaw Plumbing Services came out to address my problems within an hour of me calling for help. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem, gave a fair estimate for the work, and once I accepted immediately got the work done. He did a great job and left the area cleaner than he found it. I cannot recommend Shaw Plumbing Services more highly.

Thanks to Kaylor and David for their excellent work and real personal concern for an emergency plumbing job at our house yesterday. These people and this business are the real thing. We are grateful to Shaw Plumbing for existing and operating at such a high level in this town. It is rare to be this good.

Shaw plumbing came and repaired a bad faucet to my laundry tubs. George was the technician on the job. He did a really nice job. And left the area clean. He is a nice man and easy to talk to. He showed me what work he did. I am very pleased.

I called Shaw because I had an issue with the outside valve on my sprinklers. They were professional and courteous. They showed up the same day within hours of my call. Excellent service. Excellent communication. Could not ask for more. Thank you.

The quality and price of work that Shaw Plumbing services provides is exemplary. We originally contact Roto Rooter for a quote and it was 3X the cost for the scope of work that was done before looking at other companies. Shaw came out on top compared to other plumbing companies in the area as far as price and scope of what they handled.

After uncovering a larger job that’s previously anticipated Shaw gave a very reasonable price to cut 30’ of concrete, reroute drain pipe, remove concrete, replace all our old cast iron pipe and then patch up the concrete in our basement.

We had the pleasure of working with Mekie who handled everything from start to finish. Not only did he did his expertise shine in the quality of his work but he also was every helpful explaining all the details of each step and going the extra mile. Mekie was the main reason we went forward with using Shaw’s services.

They do not deal directly with insurance but they were able to work with us to present their work in a manner that our insurance could help mitigate some of the costs.

We would 100% work with Shaw Plumbing again for any future plumbing needs.

Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Gave just a 2 hour arrival window of 10am-noon (next day service even with non-emergency toilet leak). They even called me a bit past 10 to let me know it might be closer to 11. That courtesy of customers’ time is very very hard to find nowadays. Diagnosed the issue in no time and gave me 3 options with specific estimates based on how much work I wanted. Got the work done in well under 2 hours, even helped with a couple little things like a jiggly shower handle and leaky tub drain not related to the bigger job.
Pricing was right at or below my expectations which is such a nice surprise nowadays.
From first phone/scheduler to the plumbing technician, Cory, start to finish, very professional. Will call them with any future needs.

Called the office and left a message and they got back to me and made me a diagnostic appointment right away. David was able to get to us sooner than expected and was able to make a diagnosis and actually put a new water heater in the day of the appointment. Nice guy, good work and cleaned up after the job was completed! Will be using their services in the future!

We had George and Cory come look at an issue with hot water pressure in our sink. We had fixed it ourselves (so we thought) but the problem returned after a few months. George and Cory were super thorough, looking at all the potential causes of the problem and then recommended a process to potentially fix it. It worked!

The best part was how descriptive and educational they were. Not only did they resolve the issue, but they gave us information on how to do it ourselves if the issue returned and multiple ideas for how to prevent recurrence of the problem. We have a 75 year old house and like to do work ourselves when we can. I *so* appreciate how friendly, thorough, and informative they were. George even patiently let me write down all the steps of the process. I think we've found ourselves a permanent plumbing service!

Also, the people who make and confirm appointments were very friendly and authentic. The whole experience was top-notch.

Excellent service provided by Shaw. I had an issue with my hot water, called Shaw and they sent a tech to diagnose the problem. He had trouble figuring out exactly what was wrong, but in stead of having me pay to fix something that he wasn't 100% sure about, he came back with another tech to help figure out exactly what was causing the problem. Both techs came a second time and successfully repaired the issue, and rather than making me pay full price for both visits, they rolled the cost of the first visit into my final bill. The techs and the receptionists at the office were all extremely friendly and very honest, I will definitely be using their service for any problems I have in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mekie was excellent, as usual. He's prompt, approachable and professional and always finishes jobs in a timely fashion. He's willing to answer questions and explain things in a way laymen can understand. He consistently makes great suggestions regarding solutions to repair or improve our system. We highly recommend!

Diagnosed and solved our problem, always showing up at the early end of their stated time range, took care of permitting and solved at least one problem I was unaware I had, all for less than I expected.

Shaw does it again! We needed to plumb for a washer on a different floor, a sprinkler system hookup, and a sump pump, and Shaw was absolutely professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. We’d have left a different review but didn’t see the option.

Called in morning and job was done professionally, knowledgeably, and friendly by 1PM that afternoon. Nathan the technician gave us several options and prices. We went with his recommendation and paid a fair price for a pipe replacement. Would recommend for plumbing work.

Had them out for an estimate, during which they took the time to help me get my sprinklers to work (new home owner here). Got another estimate which was almost spot on with theirs so I went with them. They were able to schedule quickly and the job was done fast. The new set up looks great, and they even mounted my gutter pipe for me after it fell. Both men were very pleasant. We’ll definitely hire them again in the future!

Had never used Shaw but the kitchen sink was flooding. Called Shaw (based on Google reviews) and Nathan arrived WITHIN AN HOUR! Fixed the whole thing in under and hour and cost me $350 total. Great experience all around. You’ve got my business and all of my references as well. Great job Shaw!

We highly recommend Shaw plumbing! Cory arrived sooner than expected on both a holiday and a very stressful morning (pipe burst and flooding during recent arctic blast), and was thoughtful, courteous and explained the situation and our options. He was respectful in our home and talked us through what he saw and the next steps.

We had no water and within an hour, Cory had diagnosed the problem. He had a fix so we could be in our home with running water and toilets while we wait for ongoing work to be done.
