Took the kids biking on the centennial trail today and stopped here for a little bit of swimming. It was awesome for a swimming spot because there are natural rocks that line this area and protect it from the flow of the river beyond. Makes it safer for kids and more fun. The water was pretty cold but that didn't deter us much, being the adventurous rascals we are!

Definitely worth a hot summer's day if you have the time.

Dog friendly and shallow for the kiddos. Great clean place to take your family or friends! It’s a TASK to get my dogs to leave they love it so much. Fun area to paddle board too

This is a really nice swim area not too crowded when me and my family went the only thing that I didn't enjoy is some people had 2 dogs which one of them tried to bite me youngest son they didn't even apologize and seemed like they didn't have their dog under control.
All they said was that the dog was scared but all my son was doing was playing in the water and that dog got pretty close to his face. Which I don't appreciate how rude those people are yes its dog friendly but be cautious of some dogs in the swimming area.
Other than that beautiful views

Cool place to go paddle boarding or swimming. Awesome rock formations and spotted some beavers and river otters on the way to Boulder Beach.

It's a really neat little area of the river, guarded by a couple islands and some rocks. Wouldn't recommend trying to swim here in the springtime however, due to snowmelt that floods the river, overwhelming the trees on the west side and making the whole area really deep.
