Kettle River Campground

Loved this campground. Small, right on the water, nice co-campers all around, and a great paddle upstream and float back. We found several little “beaches” to sop and play and dip in the water as well. Had to be careful of fast moving motorized vehicles on the water though. The site we got was spacious and filled with wildflowers. This is going on our top 10 list.

It was a very beautiful place, water was down real low, but very beautiful would love to camp there sometime.. just an update since I found out about all the turkey hunting over there and the fishing and how beautiful it is over there that I seen for my own two eyes it's a place I want to retire for the rest of my life.. it is just beautiful..

Really great campground with beautiful views. There is a ton of birding opportunities - so many birds, we thought it was a sanctuary! We also heard elk bugles in the morning. There is a nice rocky beach you can put kayaks in and play in the water as well. We went at the end of September and we were the only ones staying in the camp. The only downside was that the person across the river from sites 4-6 shine a bright spur light at the camp that flashes on and off all night. We think he does it to persuade campers from not staying there.

I really like this place, location clean seem like a really good place to stay or to spend the day or whatever it was beautiful..
