Boulder Beach

Spent time soaking up the sun at Boulder Beach on Monday. We found a great spot on a warm boulder and watched the planes come and go. The beach has some sand and plenty of shade. A lot of duck poo but other than that it’s a great spot.
Just one of the many peaceful spots I love around Spokane.

Pretty little city beach on the river. Swim on one side, then cross the street for hiking or dirtbikes. Gets over crowded in the summer though. Hard to find parking during the on season. Good area to ride a bike to on the centennial trail.

There is a beautiful scenery here you can't even imagine it's a very cool area

85°. Some couples dog tried to attack another dog and the couple's dog was not on a leash in the man with the small dog grabbed the dog and they all got into argument even the kids were yelling at the guy very interruptive ruined my stay so I left. People if you have dogs keep them on the leash

My favorite spot, well one of the top five, in Spokane
Quite during the offseason, and incredibly energetic during the summer months.
There are multiple locations to get kyacks or paddle boards in the water.
Sandy/dirt areas for picnics, sunbathing, or just hanging out.
The water is always a bit cold for my preference to go swimming, but a lot of people really enjoy it.

Lock your car and be mindful of pedestrians and children crossing the road during the summer months.
Not a dirty area, but a reminder to please take any garbage or personal items with you when you leave.
Not everyone does, so I like to bring a few pairs of gloves and an extra garbage bag along.

Such a GORGEOUS river with an awesome beach area and a nice trail for dog walking or taking a walk with the family !

I have been going to this area since I was a child and I cannot generally drive by without stopping somewhere along the way. It always gives me and warm feeling oath family that has come and gone have a picnic area where we used to hang out.
Family friends and new generations Now find this area also a peaceful place. However now it does get crowded early with beach goers as well as cyclists, hikers, and rock climbing.
May I remind you to please if you're carrying in trash and goodies carry it back out and preserve the things many of us love. Thank you.

Shallow water at the beach for kids. No supervision provided. It's June and the water is still super cold. Just saying.

Great place for Bird Photography

Sweet little spot to check out the river and it's local damn.

Beautiful place. Water is cold but clear. Good sandy beach area and lots of boulders to swim around and climb on. Rope swing to swing into the river east of the beach.

We had this beach practically to ourselves early in the morning this week after a walk through the camp/park area just north (which burned the next day!). The water and view were beautiful. It was already warm and pleasant at 11 am. Also enjoyed visits from ducks and ducklings (but please don’t feed them). If it weren’t for he smokers who feel it’s ok to throw their nasty cigarette ends on the ground, it would’ve been flawless.

The trail is easy to navigate and has plenty of stopping points if you need a break. The trail from the first lot to the beach & back is around 2 miles. Generally speaking it's a wonderful place. Also very scenic views and photo opportunities.

Amazing place. During weekend is super busy and parking spots are harder to find but during week days it's easier and not as busy. Water is nice, cool and very clean :) love coming here with my kids.

Im 35 yrs. Old I still go off the rope swing it's a blast. As you can see my kid and friends love it too.

Great swimming spot, my friend got a little wasted, but it was a good time.

I always enjoy going down to the area for a nice hike, and it is right across from Camp Sekani. So there is a lot of hiking/biking stuff to do right in the area.

I can't believe this place is free.
My daughter loved feeding the ducks. We liked the peace and quiet.

Great free parking, easy walk down to the water and magnificent chill kayaking! (Still this is a River so please watch your kiddos.

Not too bad! Some shaded areas and little beach like... the water was a little dirty with a bunch of different things like little feathers, weeds and leaves. But nice place to swim in the city! All family members can swim, 2 ice cream trucks even stopped!
